Hi everybody. My name is Andy with etrailer.com And today we're taking a look at Coghlan's Camping Can Openers. If you're needing some can openers for your next backpacking, camping, or RV adventure, but you're wanting to save space in the back of your backpack. These might be an option for you to consider. Let's take a closer look at them. The simple can openers makes it easy to open up canned goods on the go.
And because of their size, they are small enough to fit in your pocket. They feature a nickel-plated steel blade that will stay sharp for years of camping adventures. And they're gonna stay free of corrosion because they are nickel-plated. And I will say that that edge is sharp, especially that point. That's a very sharp point.
So just be aware of that. I don't think that's gonna be a, you're gonna have any issue cutting into a can. And then to open that up, I think that's gonna go through that tin just fine. Now they do come with a hole in the bottom, so you can put these on a keyring. Just for again, convenient access.
Let me see if I can get my personal keyring open here, just to kind of show you how that works. So you could keep this on a keyring, maybe to carry on your keys, or maybe put it on a keyring and put that on the back of a backpack, something like that. But personally, I would not recommend putting this on your keyring to carry, just because of how sharp that edge is. I could see that you could easily cut yourself, poke yourself if that was on. If you we're grabbing for your keys.
So that's probably not the way that I would recommend carrying these. If I we're gonna use these, I would probably just put them in a pouch or something in my backpack, just to make sure that I don't accidentally injure myself. Now, again, they are small. Let me give you an idea of the size here. The overall length, we're sitting right at about two inches. And the width, at its widest point. So I'm gonna measure from here. We are sitting right at about 3/4 quarters of an inch, across. Now, when you purchase these on our website, you will get two openers. And I would probably recommend going along the lines of looking at more of a multi-tool option. These are good in a pinch, and these are nice and portable, but I'm more used to having something like a multi-tool option that has an included can opener. And plus you'll get a bottle opener and some other functions too. Depending on how many functions you decided to get with that multi-tool. But Coghlan has you covered. They do have a 7-Function Multi-Tool Pocket Knife. You can find that on our website Item number CG32ZR, and that would include a can opener, bottle opener, and several other functions as well. Well, that's gonna do it for our look today at Coghlan's Camping Can Openers. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..
