Today we're going to take a look at the PTC custom-fit cabin air filter. Now, this is going to be an important thing to replace in your vehicle fairly often, since it's going to filter out any particulate matter from getting into your vehicle, and then getting into your lungs.This is going to keep out any of those harmful gasses from the road, things like carbon monoxide, but also pollens, spores, mold, bacteria, smoke, brake dust, all those nasty things that we don't really want to breathe in. And it's also going to help to make sure that our air system, our air conditioning and our heating are working properly. A lot of times, this can get gunked up with not only all those small particles of things, but also with sometimes leaves or other dirt and debris. That can make it hard for any air to get through at all and then you can have an issue with your air conditioning and your heat, so if you're having an issue where you're just not really getting any air coming out of those systems, you might need to change your air filter.It's pretty easy to do. Typically, your air filter's going to be located on the passenger's side in the front.
It's going to be underneath your glove box. In this case, you might have to remove a kick panel to get to that air filter. Just take out the old one, replace it with the new one. While the Filter seems acceptable, the [online] video etrailer has on-line showing how to DIY install/replace and access the filter is incomplete and a bad source of how to do it. In it, the information on a simple procedure like removing the glove box to get at the filter housing completely neglects to tell an Acadia owner it is necessary to easily disconnect the left-side of the glove box from the swivel restraint which takes two seconds. That earned the one star review and caused me to finally source other, complete and accurate [online] videos on how to do it.
All products came together in one package. Shipping time was fair. As always, etrailer was great for getting exactly what I needed.

I like it has carbon filter to better screen out outside impurities. It was more stiff than the original cabin filter making it harder to insert.
I haven't installed the product but it looks identical to the factory installed one. Its a compartment filter for 2019 Sienna. Delivery was on time as promised.
