Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the TecNiq Dragon waterproof green LED boat accent light. Now, this LED light will provide a nice, bright green light for your boat. It's great for upgrading or replacing accent lighting, step lighting, walkway, or underwater lighting. It is a nice sealed waterproof housing and lens unit.

IP 68 rating. Uses military-grade construction of a circuit board. And it uses urethane potting, which offers better protection than common epoxy potting. They do use premium LEDs that are energy efficient, long-lasting and vibration resistant, and they are rated for up to 50,000 hours of operation. The housing is a durable polycarbonate housing.

Has UV resistant lens. And it is a clear lens over four green LEDs. It is compatible with 12 volt DC systems. And this is a surface mount installation. Now, the hardware to install this is not included, requires two screws.

And it mounts using a protective horizontal or vertical mounting cover which we do sell separately. And it is listed, those items are listed on this product page as a related item. Now, if it's mounted in a vertical position like this with a vertical cover, it'll emit a 40 degree beam. And if it's mounted in a horizontal cover in this position, it'll emit a 60 degree beam. This does hardwire to your application.

Has a total wire length of about 36 inches. It's two wires, one is a power, one is a ground. Now, I am gonna hook this up to some power to show you how bright the light is. First, I wanna give you the dimensions on it. The length of this light is only 1 1/8 inches. The height of it is right at 3/8 of an inch tall. And the total depth is only a half an inch. Light output is 32 lumens. Input voltage, nine volts to 14 volts. And the power draw is .04 to .07 amps. So, what I'm gonna do now is we're gonna go ahead and hook this up to some power. So, we're gonna go ahead and hook our ground up. And then we'll go ahead and hook up our power. And this will, those both hooked up, I'll go ahead and turn the power on, and you can see the four green LEDs will light up. I'm gonna go ahead and turn off the overhead light just so you can see the four LEDs and how bright they are, and the bright green color. What I am gonna do is zoom out just so you can see at a distance. And then we'll zoom back in. And then we'll go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights, and turn off our power. But that should do it for the review on this TecNiq Dragon waterproof green LED boat accent light..
