Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this TecNiq 30-inch long, white, LED, 360 degree All Around Boat Navigation Light. Now this 360 degree LED pole light will make your boat more visible when you're traveling at night. This is an all round navigation light, which will project the white light all around the boat, 360 degrees. Now I do have this hooked up to some 12-volt power, just to show you the light. We'll go ahead and turn it on, and you can see the light comes on.
Go ahead and turn off the overhead lights. And if I sort of hold this here, you might be able to see how it gives you a full light all the way around. You can see it along the back wall there. We'll go ahead and turn back on overhead lights. And we'll go ahead and turn off our power.
But this must be displayed at night and in periods of poor visibility, like fog or heavy rain. What's nice on this pole light is it has a hinged pole design here at the bottom. This will let you easily tilt and adjust the light as needed. So right here, if you'll notice, there's a knob. If you just loosen this knob, that'll loosen the pole.
And when you get it loose enough, you can see that you can raise it up higher, lower it down at a different angle. Once you get the angle you want, go ahead and tighten that knob down and it holds it into that position. Also, it's nice, the light at the top, you can see, it does go slightly side to side, so you can adjust it even more at the top. And they do use a single premium LED in here. It's an energy efficient, long-lasting vibration resistant, and it meets every all-around light specifications.
The range on the slide is two nautical miles. It is in a sealed waterproof unit. Includes your durable polycarbonate housing with the UV resistant lens. Does use military grade construction of the circuit board and it uses urethane potting, which gives you better protection than the common epoxy potting. Now the pole itself is an aluminum construction. It is 12 volt DC compatible, and it is a surface mount installation. You can see the bracket here has two holes in it for screws to be installed. Now the hardwood install is not included. You would have to supply that. It does hardwire to your application. Let me disconnect our power and you can see the two hard wires are black and a white, and they're about 12 inches long. The pole itself is 30 inches long, three-quarter inch diameter. Now this one happens to be a 30 inch long. They do sell these in other lengths. We do sell separate on our website anywhere from 12 inches up to 48 inches. And the last thing I just wanna measure for you is the base. So I'm gonna zoom in just a little bit so you can see measurement on the base. The width of it is right at two and a half inches by an inch and a quarter. And the distance between the two mounting holes center to center is one and three quarter inches. But that's gonna do it for the review on this TecNiq 30-inch long white LED 360 degree, All Around Boat Navigation Light.
