Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this TecNiq 24-inch long white LED 360 degree all-around boat navigation light. Now, this 360 degree LED pole light makes your boat more visible when traveling at night. It is an all-around navigation light, which will project the white light all the way around the boat, 360 degrees. Now, I do have this hooked up to some 12 volt power, and just to show you how bright the light is, we'll go ahead and turn on the light itself and then we'll go ahead and turn off the overhead light, just to show you. You can see how bright that light is.

I sort of hold it by me. You can see it lights up all the way around 360 degrees. Now, this must be displayed at night and in periods of poor visibility like fog or heavy rain. Go ahead and turn my light back on. Now, it's a hinged-pole design.

We'll go ahead and turn off the power. And the hinged-pole design If you look at the base right here where the pole's connected to, you'll see this knob. This will let you easily tilt and adjust the light as needed. So if you loosen that knob, as you loosen that, then you'll be able to swing the pole. You can see in whatever position you need it in, if you need it straight up, if you need it at an angle.

And then once you find that position, go ahead and tighten that knob down and it'll hold it in that position. So when it's mounted, you can see it. It'll hold it just like that. Also, at the very top where the light itself is, you can see that rotates side to side. So it gives you additional adjustment.

It does use a single premium LED, which is energy efficient, long-lasting, and vibration resistant, and it meets every all-around light specification. The range on this light is two nautical miles. It is a sealed, waterproof unit, includes a nice durable polycarbonate housing and UV resistant lens. They do use military-grade construction of the circuit board for the light and it uses urethane potting, gives you better protection than the common epoxy potting. The pole itself is an aluminum construction. As we mentioned, it's 12 volt DC compatible. It is a surface mount design. You can see the base here has the two holes in it. You'll mount it with two screws. Now, the hardware to install it is not included. You would have to supply that. And then it also hard wires into your application on the disconnect it. And show you, it comes with the two wires, power and the ground, black and a white wire. And the wire length on it is about 18 inches. Specs on the pole itself. The length, we mentioned, is 24 inches long, diameter of three-quarters of an inch. Now this is a 24 inch long, but they do also come in other dimensions, which we sell separate on our website, anywheres from 12 inches in length up to 48 inches. And the base itself, if you look at the base, just to give you the measurements on that. And I'm gonna zoom in a little bit so you can see. On the base, they're gonna measure two and a half inches by one and a quarter inches. And the distance between the two mounting holes center to center is one and three-quarter inches.
