Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Technique 14-inch tall white, LED, 360 degree, All Round Boat Navigation Pole Light. Now, this is a 360 degree LED pole light. Makes your boat more visible when you're traveling at night. Now, the all round navigation lights will project the white light all around the boat, 360 degrees. And just to show what that light looks like, I have this hooked up to some 12 volt power.

So if we turn on the power, you can see the light will come on. Now this must be displayed at night and at periods of poor visibility, like fog or heavy rain. And I'll go ahead and turn off the overhead lights and you can see how bright the light is. Gives off a nice 360 degrees of light. Turn back on our overhead lights.

And what's nice with this pole light, it is a hinged pole design, so it'll let you easily tilt and adjust the light as needed. Basically has a knob here at the bottom that if you just loosen that knob, it'll let you rotate this light. Once you get it loose enough, you can see that it can go down here and go all the way over here. And once you get it to whatever angle you need, just go ahead and tighten that knob back down. And as you can see, it'll hold it into place.

Also, if you look at the very top where the light is, that's actually adjustable a little bit, also. It does use a single premium LED, which is energy efficient, long lasting, and vibration resistant. And it does meet every all round light specifications. In this case, the range on this is two nautical miles. It is in a nice sealed, waterproof unit.

Includes a durable polycarbonate housing and a UV resistant lens. And it does use military grade construction of the circuit board. And a urethane potting gives you better protection than the common epoxy potting. Now the pole itself, I'll go ahead and turn off the light, but the pole itself is a aluminum construction. It is 12 volt DC compatible, and it is a surface mount installation. You can see it has the base with the two holes in it. Now the hardware is not included, requires two screws to install this. And again, that's not included. You would have to supply that. And this does hard wire to your application. And I wanted to show you, it gives you two wires, a black and a white wire. Gives you a wire length about 18 inches. A few dimensions on this, the pole, 14 inches long, diameter is three quarters of an inch. Now this is a 14-inch tall pole. It does also come available in many other heights, anywhere from 12 inches all the way up to 48 inches. We do sell those separate on our website. Now the base itself, if we measure that, it's gonna be right at two and a half inches by one and a quarter inches. And the distance between the two mounting holes center to center is one and three-quarter inches.
