Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the Feedback Sports bike Chain Keeper, part number 301-17330. It's going to be great for traveling, where you might be getting on a plane, and having to remove the front and rear wheels. It's going to help keep tension in our chain, and prevent it from rubbing, or scratching, or dirtying up your frame. It's also going to be great for performing maintenance, or cleaning your chain. It's going to work with standard quick release, and it also includes an adapter to work with 12-mm thru-axle dropouts. It's constructed out of machined aluminum, so it's going to stand up to rust and corrosion.
It comes fully assembled in the box. Let's go ahead and show you how we got it set up.We'll first start by removing the rear wheel. If you're unsure how to do that, I'll show you. We'll simply loosen up our skewer. I'm going to push down on my rear derailleur.
Simply guide it out. Then I can set it aside. Here you can see, if we weren't planning on using the keeper, the chain is going to rest on our frame. It's going to get it all oily, and it's going to cause some scratches. Now let's put our Chain Keeper in place.
So we want to make sure that the metal wheel is going to be on the inside of our frame. The black wheel, our chain is going to rest in the channel. So we'll push down on our rear derailleur. We'll bring it up with the chain in place. We're going to set it into the dropout.Once we've got it in place, we're going to give it a turn to tighten it up, and that's it.
You can see with it in place, it's gave our chain tension, and it is no longer resting or scratching our frame. That's going to complete our look at the Feedback Sports bike Chain Keeper, part number 301-17330.
