Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at Etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the flow tool, high-performance wood fiber absorbent material. This is going to help us to clean up any small spills around the shop, around the house. If you happen to be changing your oil in the garage, spill a little oil, this is typical whenever you're doing that job, you don't really want to leave that on the pavement there. It can leave an oil stain, cause some issues down the road.
So, you can put a little absorbent on there, soak up all of that nastiness and then throw it away. You can either just sweep it up or vacuum it up with your shop vac and then you're good to go. This is going to be typically more absorbent than your other standard absorbent agents out there like clay or diatomaceous earth. They say it's up to three times as absorbent for that. So, pound for pound you're getting a better deal by getting this stuff rather than one of those other guys. The way that they do that is this is going to be a wood material.
It's a heat treated wood. So, it basically breaks up that wood material into small fibers and then it lets it be porous. So, it's like little tiny sponges to soak up all of the stuff that you don't want to have around. You can use this on carpet, pavement, wood, ceramic tile, just about anywhere that you'd want it to be. So, even if it is something a little bit more stubborn like oil, it should be able to still suck that up and let you dispose of it properly.
Now, if it is motor oil or anything like that, you want to make sure that you comply with any local, state or federal laws with how to dispose of that, but if you're just soaking up a little bit of puke, one of the kids made a mess, dog made a mess, should be able to help you out with that without any issues there. Now with water, this is meant to be used with water and oil based fluids only. Not really meant for acids or stronger caustic oxidizing agents. So, that's something to keep in mind there. It is a three pound bag. You can reseal it.
There's little resealing piece up at the top. So, it should be a good thing to keep around the shop for small spills or one big spill, but that's pretty much all there is to it for our flow tool high performance wood agent. I hope this video has been helpful and decided if this is going to be the right product for you. If not, we do have other options available here at Etrailer.com. So, check them out. Thanks for watching.
