Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Hellwig Adjustable Rear Anti-Sway Bar. Now this rear anti-sway bar is designed specifically to fit your 2021 to 2023 Ford F-150. And on custom fit parts such as this bar, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide. Just insert the year, make and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.
Now this bar is going to help minimize side-to-side movement, improving the overall stability of your F-150. This system is going to let you execute turns, and quick maneuvers with confidence, giving you a level ride even on irregular surfaces. This is going to help reduce driver fatigue by minimizing the effort required to keep your truck in line. And it's also going to help diminish the effects of cross winds, passing motorists, and shifting cargo. This anti-sway bar does for side-to-side movement, what a good pair of shocks does for up and down motion, giving you a marked improvement in the stability of your truck.
And as soon as you have this installed, you will feel the benefits of having this installed on your F-150. Hopefully you can see here along the sides, we do have these three adjustment holes on either side. Those holes are gonna let you choose the degree of stiffness. The holes closest to the bar are the stiffest setting, and the holes that are furthest from the bar are the softest setting. So you have that range of adjustability with this bar, and you can find just the perfect, the perfect application that you're looking for in regards to that adjustability.
Now the bushings are made of polyurethane instead of the standard rubber variety giving you a longer lasting system. They are going to be durable, resistant to damage caused by oil, gasoline and ozone. So less wear means less given the system, and better overall support. Now the diameter of this bar is one inch. It is made here in the USA of solid heat treated Chromoly steel.
And I'm gonna give you a closeup view overhead just so you have a better look at this finish. This bar features a silver vein hammer tone finish, which not only provides protection from corrosion, but the finish actually has little divots in it. So when you grease your polyurethane bushings, and slide slide them on the bar, this finish is actually going to do a great job of holding that grease in the bushing to prevent them from squeaking. Now this does include everything that you see here on my table before me. You are going to get a set of instructions to guide you through the installation process. The mounting hardware is zinc plated to prevent corrosion, resist corrosion. The end links and the brackets have been finished with the black powder coat. You are gonna get some bushing lubricant, some fiber tight, and virtually everything that you're going to need to successfully install this. This does have a limited lifetime warranty from Hellwig, and I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that our time together has been helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Rear Sway bar by Helwig: Great, HOWEVER the flange is too rounded on the brackets provided and you cannot get a washer to fit when tightening-also cannot get a socket on to tighten, thus you cannot get a torque wrench on. Front Sway bar by Roadmaster: Great. BUT the provided new bushing that fits in the factory bracket is too thick and needs to be trimmed to fit right. BOTH of these issues SHOULD NOT have to be tolerated by a buyer of what is supposed to be an expensive quality product!!! The staff is superb but they asked me for a PRODUCT review and both brands are not impressive on the hardware.

Really takes that rock-n-roll motion to a minimum, especially when driving out a driveway. Much beefier than the stock E450 sway bar - very pleased with this product.

Sway bars are considerably larger than factory. They were easy to install and helped to control side to side sway. These bars were installed along with a rear sway bar. I would recommend these sway bars

Great experience. The orginal sway bar was disconntinued however Tiffani stayed on top of my order at all times with a direct replacement for my truck.

Installed this sway bar along with a front sway bar. This bar is quite larger than the factory one and helped control side to side sway. I would recommend this sway bar cause it make driving our RV so much more enjoyable.

We ordered the hellwig front and rear stabilizers and had them installed and are 100% pleased with the stability of the rig. I did not even feel a semi passing me after we picked it up from the shop to take it back to the storage unit unlike before.
