Today we're going to be taking a look at the Pewag line of tire chain storage totes. We have different sizes available. These are a great way to get your chains in something a little more substantial than what they usually come in. It's gonna give us a nice, heavy duty bag. It's gonna give us plenty of room for not only our chains but maybe some gloves or some other things that we might want to keep in there and keep handy. Now overall, these are a nice heavy duty bag. We're gonna be putting a lot of weight in these with tire chains and we need something that's going to give us a lot of support.
You can see something I like, the straps here come up. They're gonna give us a nice handle. But this is one piece, it goes all the way around the underside of the bag, comes out on the other side, so we're not just pulling on maybe a stitch right here where they had secured the bag. We're not just pulling on that bag material but it goes all the way around. Also, the bottom has a hard texture to it. So we're gonna have some additional support there.
We won't have to worry about the bottom of the bag giving out on us. Now our strap as we said, this is gonna be one continuous full length strap, but something else bout the construction of the bag that's gonna help give it a lot of life or make sure it lasts for a very long time, this piece goes down, all the way around to the other side. And this piece comes up all the way around to the other side. So we're not dealing with four or five different pieces of material that have all been sewn together. And where the two pieces have been sewn together, you can see they've piped that seem, that's gonna give us some extra, of course some rigidity there, but also help with the strength.
You'll see it's a continuous seem all the way down and around all the way around our bag.Now the zipper itself is of pretty fair quality. It's not the highest qualify of zipper I've ever felt, not the cheapest, but certainly better than what comes stock with your tire chains. See it drops down on both edges to help us get this opened up pretty nicely. That'll help get the chains out, but certainly help when we're putting them back in. Now you see we've got a pretty large set of chains inside of this particular bag.
This is the medium, part number PW3, it's 10 inches by 10 inches, it's gonna be 8 inches tall and there's plenty of room in there. This size tire chain goes up to a 31 1050 or 31 1150. I definitely think that the large bag is gonna be well suited for the larger tire chains for bigger truck tires. Or if you have a dual set. Certainly gonna need the larger bag to have enough room to get those items in there. It's gonna be 10 by 10 but it's 13 inches tall. This has a 65 pound capacity. The medium it has a 55 pound capacity. The small, which is again the same 10 by 10, but just 6 inches tall, this is gonna be for smaller passenger car tires. This is gonna be for smaller SUV tires. It has a 40 pound capacity. And then additionally for your smaller lawn mower, ATV style chains we have a mini. That's gonna be 5 inches by 5 inches, 7 inches tall. That one's gonna give us a 20 pound capacity.Additionally, on each of the bags you are gonna have a panel here. Now if you're just storing tire chains in there, you can put the tag from your tire chain in there, or the instructions for your tire chain. If you're gonna have different items, you know some people will pack emergency supplies and things like that in bags like this. You could put a card in there and list individually what was on there so you didn't have to look through each bag each time.Overall, these bags are gonna give you a really nice and easy way to store your tire chains. You're not gonna have to worry about them ripping. We go through a lot of tire chains up here using them, and it seems like the bags in most cases just aren't that good of quality. They've changed it with these. They've made a nice, solid bag. Certainly gonna be better than the bag that a lot of them come in, like this, just not very good storage system. One thing to keep in mind, one way to keep these bags lasting as long as possible will be to, after you're done with your chains, you're gonna wanna rinse those off with fresh water and let them dry. Tuck them in here, and you should get years of service out of them. And that's gonna complete our look at the Pewag line of tire chain storage totes.

Store your pewag tire chains or carry any variety of cargo with this durable nylon tote bag. Bag measures 10" long x 10" wide x 6" tall and can safely hold up to 40 lbs.Great for storing tow equipment
I have 25 x 10-12 tire chains and this size bag is a tight fit. Probably would pick next size up. It’s a nice bag and it’s nice to have storage for the chains.
This is a high quality bag but too small for my F-350 (LT275/70R18) tire chains. I will be returning it for a larger bag.
This bag is so small I could not get even one set of chains for one tire in the tiny bag.
For being the smallest of all the utility tote bags, it stored both my V-bar chains perfectly.
nice size bag bought it to put jumper cables in under back seat of my extended cab chevy
These bags look to be a good strong material for hauling chains around. Much easier to deal with this bag than the chain bag that they come in.
