Hey everyone, it's Evangeline and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Replacement Wheels Strap Bolts for your Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack right here at etrailer. So for your Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack, see how the wheel strap moves around for those different wheel based bikes. Well what's doing the job is this bolt underneath. So there's a track there and it slides back and forth. And when you have it loose, you can actually take the entire strap assembly off. Now, it happens.
Maybe wear and tear happens, maybe you lose your parts and this is where you go for your replacement. So with this, you get four bolts. Although you do not get the nut to tighten it down. So, just keep that in mind. You may have to reuse your old ones or just get a nut that fits onto that bolt for a full assembly.
You're gonna need a 10 millimeter socket or wrench to loosen that nut on the end. But, if you have the entire assembly off, you may need some pliers to hold down that nut. Or, you could also just slide it in through the track and the track will hold it in place to make it easier to loosen. So just loosen that nut until it comes off of the entire strap. And then just bring this out and replace your bolt.
Slide that back through, make sure your strap is facing the right way and then tighten down with your 10 millimeter wrench. So these are M6 bolts and they are square on top, so that's gonna be a half inch square. So your four bolts will just help you replace all four straps if needed. And just like that, very simple process. Again, the nut is not included.
