Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and we're going to take a quick look at the replacement Yakima swing door. This is going to be for your BaseLine towers, and it's just that little door that comes over and secures our BaseLine bolt in place to make sure that our clips stay where they need to be.So if we take a closer look, I'll show you where this actually goes on a BaseLine tower to make sure that it is the right part for you. So it's just that little clip that goes over that bolt. I've got part number Y00146 here. So just to show you how those two match, that's our piece right there that we're looking at.

Pretty easy to take this out if it got damaged. So you just kind of squeeze on one side and get those two little posts out from either side and do that same thing with the new one.You just want to make sure that you get it lined up with the hole that it's going to mount into. It's kind of hard for you guys to see that there. That's where you're going. And then the other end is going to go into this hole here.

So that's where it's going to be pivoting. So put the inside in first, kind of squeeze and push. And make sure that that seats, and then that it turns nice and easy. And that snaps down securely.So pretty easy to switch that in and out. Again, works with the Y00146, but also with Y00150.

Just secures again, that BaseClip bolt in place, and helps to keep that tower from coming loose.That pretty much does it for our quick look at the replacement swing door for your Yakima BaseLine towers.
