Replacement Key for Thule Racks and Carriers - N167

I had broken me railing foot on my Thule rack do to strapping plywood down on a windy day. Driving with this headwind was just to much for the rack. I found etrailer online, found the parts and placed the order. Everything else was clock work. Factory Thule parts showed up within the week, easy to replace and I was back in business. Living on the Big Island of Hawai'i, This is on heard of.

When I first broke the railing foot i thought I was up a creek with out a paddle. I thought I would have to buy a whole new system from a local dealer (if I could find one). Then wait 6-8 weeks for it to arrive. This is how it usually works living on a island in the middle of the Pacific. When I was able to order the parts at very reasonable cost, have them in a week, & installed with in 20 minutes. I was a happy camper.

Only bought keys for the Thule. All has worked fine. Thank you.

Had not used the bike rack in a while and then couldn't find the keys. I did my best getting the number off of the lock and did an online search. etrailer came up as a vendor and I was familiar with them as I've ordered connectors and wiring harness before, and they have lots of info on their website that helped me with wiring. Anyhow, after seeing their pricing was the best, and they also don't gouge you for shipping I placed my order and received the keys a few days later. They worked as I had hoped.523391

You mentioned that it did not work on the lock and I have a few questions that I wanted to ask. Is there a number on the lock cylinder? If yes, what is the number on the lock?

This is a low tech item (a key), but since I don't think Thule makes the same model bike rack anymore I was apprehensive that I would be unable to find a replacement key for the hitch mount. I was pleased that this key fits perfectly and now I can remove/remount the bike rack as necessary. BTW, I got my Thule bike rack from eTrailer and was very pleased.1582223

I bought this hoping it would fit a Y002 branded lock cylinder on a Harbor Freight universal roof crossbar. It did not. No fault of the seller, I knew it was a gamble. There is obviously more than one brand of lock cylinder with the Y002 designation.1742087

I had a SEARS SPORT 20-SV (roof top cargo carrier )with lock numbers 2818 right above where you insert the key. I just added the letter (N) before the. So I ordered N2818 and it worked perfectly!! Two day shipping was right on time.1722646

Poor customer service requested a key replace a few weeks ago never received it shipped out another never provided a tracking number for the 2nd one. Customer answered the phone didn’t bother to provide it either but you taken my money with no problem but yet no key. Terrible service and people skills I hope in the fitugff1766555
