Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at the Maxle hub thru-axle adapter for the Thule bike trailers. Now this adapter will let you tow a Thule Cheetah, Cadence, Chariot, or Coaster bike trailer with your bicycle that uses a 12 millimeter by 180 millimeter, or 12 millimeter by 174 millimeter Maxle thru-axle. This basically will replace the rear axle on your bikes so that you can install the bicycle trailer's easy hitch. It's designed to work with the Thule one-child and two-child bike trailers.
It does include everything shown here. The thru-axle itself, six millimeter spacer, lock nut, and the washer. The thread pitch on these are 12 millimeter by 1.75 millimeter. And the axle length it can be used on is either 180 millimeter or the 174 millimeter using the spacer. So basically right now, you can see if we measure from here to here, millimeters going to be about 180.
If you end up putting the six millimeter spacer on there, and it'll work on the 174 millimeter thru-axle. But that should do it for the review on the Maxle hub thru-axle adapter for the Thule bike trailers.
