When your boat is covered for the season, rainwater can build up in pools on top of the cover and cause it to sink and form mildew. This boat cover support kit is designed to create a frame over your boat, ensuring that your cover lays taut so it can easily shed water and debris.
Setting up the support kit is easy. Just buckle the 14' polypropylene straps to the support pad, then attach the straps' hooks onto your boat's transom or gunwale. Snap the support pole into the center of the pad to raise the frame, then adjust the straps and pole until the frame is taut. Drape your boat cover over the frame, secure it down, and you're finished.
And when you're ready to go boating again, taking down the frame is even easier. Just press in the quick-release buckles to instantly disconnect the straps and collapse the pole for storage.

Today, we're going to take a look at the Taylor Made boat cover support system. Now this boat cover support system will help extend the life of your boat cover. Basically what happens is when you install your boat cover onto your boat, it normally will just lay over the top of your boat and it protects the interior of your boat from the weather. But what happens is when it starts to rain, the rain water starts to accumulate in any low spots on that cover and the weight of that rainwater will push down on the cover and form pools of water that could damage that cover over time. So what this part does is this is an easily installed support system, creates a nice slope in your boat cover to prevent water from building up or pooling on the boat cover and preventing damage.It does include everything here on the table. This adjustable, bright dipped anodized aluminum support pole, one support patch assembly with the quick connect buckles and the 25 foot long strap.
And then right here, we have two 15 foot long stern straps with the hooks on the ends.Basically, when you go to install this, you'll take your support pole and there's a little button there, right on the end. And then on the bottom of the support patch, there's a snap. So what you'll do is go ahead and snap that on just like that. And then you'll put this right in the center of your boat. And then what you'll do is you'll take this long strap that's on the support patch, and you'll run that to the bow of your boat under the bow eye, and then bring it back to the support patch, secure to this quick disconnect buckle, and then pull it tight to remove slack.
And then on the back here, you got two quick connect buckles here. You'll take one of these stern straps, fasten it to the stern eye with the hook end, this stuff right here, and then run that strap to the support patch. Again, pull it tight and repeat it with the second one. Put it to your stern eye and then connect it here.So with it all connected, what you'll do is then you can raise the support pole with your cover on your boat. Raise the support pole to the desire height you need to keep the water from pooling on the cover.
The support pole does extend up about four foot maximum, total. When you get it to what height you need, just tighten it with the stop and it'll hold it into place. And then that'll keep your boat cover lifted, prevent any water from pooling on top of it. So it's a very easy installation, but that should do it for the review on the Taylor Made boat cover support system.

Boat cover support kit was easy to install. It did a great job of keeping out the elements from my 14 foot fishing boat during the Canadian fall and winter seasons. Used two support kits to better keep the boat cover from sagging.

Worked great again last winter keeping the snow and weather out of the boat and from collapsing the cover. Using two support kits to ensure boat cover is fully supported.
