Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Taylor Made oversized J hook for your fender racks. Now whether you are replacing a damaged J hook or you're wanting to add another one to your rack, this is going to be a great option for you. This is made to secure your stainless steel fender rack to your standard one inch or one and a half inch railings. You'll mount the J hook to your fender rack with this slot here.

Then once you slide this onto your railing, you can pass a bolt through there, tighten it down with a nut to keep it secure. Now, none of that hardware is included with this. This is just the hook itself. The hook is a 16th of an inch thick stainless steel. Can see we have a width of right about three fourths of an inch.It is right about four and an eighth of an inch long.

If we we're to unroll this, take the bend out of it, it would be seven inches long in total. It's going to be a great addition to help secure your fender rack to your railings. The distance we have in between here when it's tightened down, it will be right there about an inch and a half. So that's why you don't want any railings thicker than an inch and a half.
