Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this replacement monitor for the Swift Hitch wireless hitch alignment cameras. This part will replace the monitor on your Swift Hitch wireless hitch alignment camera, either part number SH03D or SH02 digital. Both of those camera kits we do sell separately on our website. This is just for the handheld monitor.

This does feature a two and a half inch high resolution LCD screen that'll display crisp, clear, full color pictures.Now, the image will turn to black and white while the camera's operating in the night vision mode. Video is displayed in a mirror image by default to give you the same viewpoint as your rear view mirror, but the setting can be switched to a non-mirror image if you prefer. To turn this unit on or off, you just hold down this button right here in the middle on the front here for about three to five seconds, and the monitor will come on. To switch to display from the mirror image view to the non mirror image view, you just press this button quickly. Basically, over on the East side here there's a little LED indicator light and that'll change colors to signal.

When the monitor's on, it'll show green. When it's charging while the power is on, it'll show yellow, and when it's charging with the power off, it'll show red. That light flashes when the unit is in the non mirror image setting so you know what perspective you got on the display.The monitor does have a battery right on the inside here. It is a rechargeable lithium ion battery, has a battery life of up to about four hours when it's fully charged, and it is recommended that the monitor battery be fully charged before first use. This is all in a nice lightweight, durable plastic unit.

Has a nice contoured shape to it, so that's very easy to hold in one hand. On this end, it has the charge socket and the LED light we talked about. On the other side, it has the video out jack that'll let you transmit images to a larger screen or a recording device. This is for a quantity of one monitor. And last, just to give you some measurements on this, the widest point on this, it's going to be right about three inches wide.

Overall heighth on it is right about five inches tall. Total depth at the widest point, which is at the bottom, it's about one and a quarter inches deep. But that should do it for the review on this replacement monitor for the Swift Hitch wireless hitch alignment cameras.
