Today, we're going to take a look at the replacement snowplow spreader clutch assembly for one inch shaft. Now, this is going to be a dry electric magnetic clutch, so basically that just means that the friction service and gag must be kept free of grease and other contaminants in order to work properly. Just want to make sure that there's no friction there. It's going to have the two wires coming off of our clutch assembly. One with the male terminal end and a ring terminal. This is going to replace your electromagnetic clutch on your snowplow assembly system. Now, this is going to have a rating of 12 volts DC, and the rated power is going to be about 45 watts. The torque is going to be about 80 newton meters, so it's going to be a high torque clutch.
As far as the dimensions, overall it's going to measure 5.9 inches at the widest point. This step in is going to be 4.5 inches across, and then the smallest point is going to be three inches in diameter.Again, that inner shaft is going to be one inch in diameter. It's going to have these mounting holes onto the side. That's going to measure from the center of the shaft to those mounting holes, that will be 3.85 inches or about 98 millimeters. The distance between those two holes is going to be three quarters of an inch.
The overall height of the assembly is going to be 2.6 inches. That's going to do it for our look at the replacement snowplow spreader clutch assembly.

Replaces the clutch assembly for your Air-Flo, Henderson, Swenson, Hi-Way, Meyer, Fisher, Western, Hiniker, Ogora, Boss, Monroe, Down Easter, or Torwell salt spreader. Mounting bracket included. You should be able to sell a million of these. This was used on the "Curtis Fast-Cast" sanders that were made for them by Torwell Mfg.who has since gone out of business or reinvented themselves or some such foolishness and neither Curtis Industries nor Torwell is willing to support those units. This took a bit to find but is is the EXACT unit!
We received it in a very quick manner. Even around the holidays!!!
Thank you!!
