Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today I'm gonna take a look at the Replacement Legs for the Reese M5 1400 Pound Max Duty Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch. That fits the Max Duty Underbed Mounting System. Now, these replacement legs here are designed to fit the Reese M5 1400 Pound Max Duty Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch. That hitch we do sell separately on our website.

Wanted to pop up an insert to show you, there's what the complete hitch looks like. You can see it's the legs attached to the center section with the head on top. And again, that goes by a part number 30947, that we sell separately. Now, the legs themselves, these legs right here, they're designed to bolt to the center section of that Reese M5 1400 Pound Max Duty Trailer Hitch. The center section that these bolts, we do also sell that part separately if you need it.

It is part number 30945. Now, these legs do come with the mounting hardware to install it to the center section. The legs are designed to mount into four receiver pucks that are built into the Reese Max Duty Underbed Mounting System. And just to show you how they install, I'm gonna zoom in on one side here. Now what I show you on this side, you'll also do on the other side.

But basically, just to show you when you go to install this, what you'll do is pop open your linchpin swing, open this arm, swing open this arm. And when you do that, the tabs down here will open up a quarter of a turn. And as I mentioned, you'll do this on the other side. So with all four corners open, you can drop your hitch right into that underbed system. Once they drop into the pucks, when you turn these back, it locks them into those pucks, and then you put your pin back in there and that'll hold the handles in there, and it locks it into place so you're all ready to go.
