Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this MAXTRAX mini recovery board carry bag. Now this heavy duty bag is going to hold up to four MAXTRAX mini recovery boards. And what's going to be great about using a bag like this is if you're not mounting your boards on the outside of your vehicle and you're storing them inside, you're gonna be saving a lot of cleanup inside of your vehicle. You are gonna use these boards in messy conditions, sand, mud, slush, snow, things like that. So when you're done using the boards and they still have some debris on it, you can just pop 'em in this carry bag, put 'em in your vehicle, and you're not gonna have to worry about tracking that stuff inside of your vehicle.

Now this is going to work with MAXTRAX mini recovery boards and mini boards and JaxBase combos. So it does have a little bit of flexibility in regards to the types of boards this is going to carry. And so let me just kind of show you, give you a 360 if you will, just so you can see all the sides of this bag. This does have weather resistant material that's going to protect the inside of the bag from the elements. It's a PVC coating.

It kind of feels like vinyl, but this bag is very durable, very rugged, and has a little bit of a padding to it as well. Now I wanted to show you the zippers here real quick before I open this up. As you can see, the zippers are, they have like a covering over them so the zippers aren't exposed. They're not going to allow moisture to easily get in through there. So that's a really nice touch that they've added to this bag.

And then hopefully you can see from that angle we do on the zippers here, have these holes right here where you could run a padlock through there. So hopefully you can see that and you're just gonna be able to bring these zippers together like so and run a padlock through there. And then you're gonna be able to secure this bag. I failed to mention the handles here. You have two nylon handles and then a padded enclosure here with hook and loop fasteners.

That's going to give you a nice grip when carrying this bag and make it very easy to transport this. Now let me go ahead and give you an overhead view and I want to talk to you about what you can fit in here. So I'm gonna open this up (bag unzipping) and right now what I have in here are two JaxBases and then two of the regular mini boards. And this is designed to hold two JaxBases and two regular mini boards. So here's my one JaxBase and then just the normal mini board and then another normal mini board. And then at the bottom here I have another JaxBase. So as you can see, and as you probably know, the JaxBases are solid. They have an area where you can put your jack on here, but because of that they don't easily nest. So if you do use two JaxBases, two of the jack pads with the two minis that are not pads, it's going to be a tight fit. As you probably saw the bag was very tight. So it is designed to carry two pads, but it is going to be a tight fit if you combine it with two of the other mini boards. So what I'm gonna do is I'm going to remove my orange JaxBase and mini board and bring these other ones in. These two are just our regular minis. So again, no jack pad base and these are going to nest together of course, very easily. And then I'm gonna put my pad at the bottom just like that. And then these three are going to nest right on top like that. And then when I zip this shut, it's going to be a whole lot easier fit and it's not going to be as tight. So I did wanna make you aware of that, just so you we're aware of that. So as you can see, the bag is not as full or not as tight. So lemme go back overhead and show you the inside here. I'm gonna remove the pads, take these out here and inside we have a mesh interior that I think is going to be really, really easy to clean up if you do track any debris in this, it's a nice orange interior and there's no straps or anything like that to hold the boards in. These are custom fit for those boards, so it's going to be a nice tight fit. And then inside you see we have this pouch and this is going to give you the ability to hold your board leashes. These leashes are going to be great to yank your board out of the terrain if it gets buried for whatever reason. So this one does include a pouch where you could put those leashes in or anything else that you might find handy to keep in there. So really nice interior and like I said, that mesh is going to be, I think, pretty easy to maintain. I'm gonna put my recovery boards back in here, again, I have one jack pad base at the bottom and then the other three are minis and then just zip this up. Zipper is very smooth, very durable. I think it's gonna be very long lasting. I do like that enclosure over the zipper. I think that's gonna do a good job of keeping moisture out of that bag as I mentioned earlier. The overall dimensions of this bag, obviously it's not gonna be that much different than the boards that's inside, but the overall length is gonna be about 27 inches long. And the overall width, we're sitting at about a little over 14 inches, about 14 and a quarter inches wide. The bag when it's empty weighs a little over two pounds, about two and a half pounds. And that's going to wrap up our look today. I think that's going to give you all the information that you need to make the choice or make the decision that you need.
