I experienced the usual lightning fast shipment from etrailer. The switch arrived in excellent shape. Mounted easily and worked as expected. I replaced the old switch because in dim mode it seemed to be getting unusually warm. Which is what a rheostat is designed to do, this was just a bit too warm. Turns out the armature in the motor was the problem. Lesson learned, at least I have a spare switch.1382771

Ordered a ceiling fan switch to replace the first replacement switch I bought recently. First replacement switch worked for a short time and then started to cut out intermittently. The first replacement was always burning hot - not good! Delivery time from etrailer was amazing - installed the switch and so far - so good. No hickups yet. Fan ran for 36 hours without stopping. Switch was warm but not burning hot like the other one I installed. Would definately recommend etrailer.872723
