Today we're going to be taking a look at the Phat 12 Fat Bike Adapter Kit for the Kuat Trio. This adapter lets you mount a fat bike with a 12-mm x 100-mm thru-axle fork on your Kuat Trio Rooftop Bike Rack. It's made from rustproof aluminum. This adapter tube fits your bike's 100-mm skewer. It's aluminum construction so you don't have to worry about rust or corrosion. It's covered with a limited lifetime warranty, and with this part, you're also going to get the Kuat storage bag. That way, whenever you're not using the adapter you can simply just place it in there and keep it safe and protected.

It is what it is, it’s an adapter. Works like it’s supposed to. Too bad it wasn’t orange like the ones that come with the Trio rack.
