Today we're going to be taking a look at the Jensen USB interface with a 1/8" auxiliary audio input jack. Now this unit features a waterproof design, which makes it great for marine applications. It simply allows you to connect an external USB device or iPod or MP3 player to your marine stereo. It's going to offer 10 feet of cable length. That's going to give you plenty of flexibility to get the port installed where you need it. Now on here you'll see you have the USB connection.
That allows for a connection of an external storage device like a phone. Then this port right here is a 1/8" audio jack that allows the input of a iPod or MP3 player, or another external audience device. This unit does feature your RCA audience connectors. It is designed for any stereo with USB capability and/or auxiliary audio inputs. It's a through-hole mount design. It's got the threaded housing.
It's going to come with the mounting nut. Basically, you'll need a 1-1/2" diameter hole. Place this through so you're mounting area would be right here. On the backside you just tighten that nut. That's going to secure this in place.
Really nice, easy to use design. It is, again, waterproof. Features salt spray and UV exposure testing. That's going to be standard compliant. It's going to give us about a 1-7/8" diameter here at the face.
Then again, your cable length is 10 feet long. It will require an 1-1/2" diameter mounting hole. That's going to do it for today's look at the Jensen USB interface and 1/8" auxiliary audio input jack.
