Surface-Mount, Bolt-On Installation is Easy
This sidewall light is incredibly easy to install either as an upgrade or a replacement of your existing light. Using hardware (not included), bolt the light down onto an interior wall of your RV or camper. The light can be turned on and off with the built-in push button, or it can be wired to a light switch. The 2-wire design hooks up to ground (white wire) and power (black wire).

Today we're taking a look at the Gustafson RV LED Sidewall Light. Now this sidewall light is designed to eliminate the interior of your RV or camper. The fabric shade is not included with this unit. This is just the base unit with the LED lighting. This is designed to work with Gustafson Sidewall Light Shades. Those are sold separately and available at @etrailer.com.
It does feature the long lasting and energy efficient LEDs that burn brighter and last longer than the incandescent bulbs. The base is a durable steel construction with a satin nickel finish to offer a sleek, polished look.It's a surface mount installation onto a wall, hardware not included. We have the built in on and off switch located right here, and it is UL listed. Now when it comes to the dimensions of the unit, I'm just measuring the base area. It gives us a measurement of six and a half inches by three inches by ...
If we take a measurement of just the base that measures about 13, 16, seven inch thick, and the overall thickness, so from the very back to the very front, including this area here is about an inch and a half. The mount holes, there's one located right here and here. Those are separated on center by around four and three quarter inches. I'm going to go and hook it up to power. That way you can see what it looks like with power running to it.
It's a two wire design, so the white wire is the ground wire, and the black wire is the 12 volt power wire.So you can see here it sends out a really nice consistent signal. It features and multiple LEDs, so the multi diode design really helps optimize the overall light output, and again, this is designed to work with a fabric shade, which is not included, but they are available and sold separately @etrailer.com. Another neat thing about LEDs is they have a much faster response time when compared to incandescent bulbs. That's going to do it for today's look at the Gustafson RV LED Sidewall Light.
