Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this mounting system for your Front Runner Pro Water Tank. Now this steel bracket is going to let you carry your Front Runner 5.3 gallon water tank on your overland adventure. And this is designed to mount on your Front Runner Slimline II and Slimsport platform racks. And on your screen, I do have the water tank that is designed to work with this mounting bracket. So if you do not have that tank but you would like to pick that up as well, I am including the item number for that water tank on your screen.

And on my table here, I went ahead and brought in this water tank just to kind of give you a demonstration of how this is going to work. So obviously, I don't have the rack that this is going to mount on, but the bracket is just going to fit right over this 5.3 gallon water tank. And when you have the latch installed on your mount, on your on your rack, this is obviously going to connect there to this to secure the bracket over the water tank. So it's going to be a very simple operation, and I did want to show you that it's gonna be very easy to retrieve the water tank off your rack. We do have a hinge here, the back of this bracket.

So that's going to allow you to lift this right up and then remove your tank. And then you can go ahead and replace that mounting bracket over the tank, and then secure it and lock it if you so desire. So that's just a brief demonstration of what that water tank is going to look like and how it's going to work. This heavy duty steel bracket, as I mentioned, is going to do a great job of securing that tank onto your platform rack from Front Runner. And this adjustable stainless steel latch is going to lock with a small accessory lock, which we do carry.

And you can just find that accessory lock from Front Runner on the Related Product section of this product page. If you notice here, and you probably saw it when I had this on the tank as well, the mounting bracket will cover the filling cap to deter water theft on that water tank. So that's a nice feature that this bracket offers as well. So the black powder-coated steel is going to resist corrosion. And when this is fully unfolded and it's sitting on your tank, just some overall measurements.

The length from end to end is gonna be about 20 1/2 inches long. And then the width is going to be, with the tank, a little about 6 1/2 inches wide overall, again, when you have this mounted over the tank. And then the height of just the bracket itself, we're sitting at about 12 3/4 inches tall. You are going to receive all the hardware to install this. And as you can see, I do have the hardware loosely assembled on the brackets, just to kind of give you an idea where that hardware's gonna go, but you're gonna get everything that you need to successfully and properly mount this to your rack, along with a T-slot rubber strip that you're gonna cut to use to in part of the installation.
