Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look at this Front Runner Universal Water Tank Tap. This flip-up tap is going to let you easily dispense water where you need it. You're just going to secure this tap where you need it and attach the end of a hose, which is sold separately, to the barb fitting. And the other end of the hose will attach to your water tank. And the tap is going to lock with a small accessory lock, which is sold separately from this.
And of course, it's gonna be very handy to lock this to prevent accidental spills. If you are interested in taking a look at a compatible accessory lock from Front Runner, you can find one on the related product section on this product page, just a little bit lower on the page, on the product page. Now the spout has a removable half-inch barb fitting and a half-inch male BSP threads connect directly to the half-inch female BSP fitting that connects to the half-inch barb fitting. And this is going to install on a vertical or horizontal surface with the included hardware. And as you can see right here, I do have the horizontal surface mount.
I have that bracket attached to this, but then we also have our vertical surface mount bracket here as well. So you do have those options with the installation hardware. And the black powder-coated brass is going to do a great job of resisting corrosion. And the chrome-plated threads are going to prevent galvanic corrosion when used with other alloys. And just to give you some overall measurements, I measured this before our time together.
The overall length from end to end at the longest point, we're sitting at about 7 3/4 inches long. And then the overall width, and that's the widest point here, is going to be the bracket that you use. We're sitting right at about 1 5/8 inches wide. And then the overall height from the bottom of the spout all the way to the top of our lift handle here, when this is down, we're sitting right at about 3 7/8 inches tall. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today.
