The Flex-a-lite fan spacer adapter converts a 1-1/8" hub pilot diameter to a standard 5/8" Pilot and provides the required spacing needed from the fan to the radiator. The large bearing surface and machined soft radius reduces point-loading which is the most common cause of stress cracking on the fan center star.
