Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a quick look at the replacement mounting hardware for your Firestone Ride-Rite air helper springs. This is specifically going to be the kit to replace the hardware from part number F2245. That's going to be the fit for the 2000 through 2006 Toyota Tundra. So, if something happened to your hardware, maybe some bolts got lost, or the threads got stripped out or something happened, this is going to be a whole new kit for us, so we can get everything run and plumbed and working properly.
So, I'll go over what comes in the kit. We'll get our four bolts that have the carriage style, so it's going to have that square block opening. These measure about three and a half inches long, and it's going to be a three-eighths inch bolt with a coarse thread. All our bolts are going to be three eighths inches or three eighths diameter. The ones with the shoulder are going to be about one and a half inches, so three eighths by one and a half.
And then these little short guys here about three quarters long. And those also have the lock tight already in place so they'll stay in place. Those are probably going to be going into the bottom of your bag to attach it into the brackets. And we'll also have our push to connect fittings that go on the top of our bag. As you can see, there's all sorts of Loctite around the threads there, so again, it's going to keep everything nice and tight. That push to connect fitting, if you have to replace any of those, easiest way to get the line out of that push to connect, you can see there's a little collar moves in and out just a tiny bit.
Whenever the quarter-inch air line is in there, that collar should be out. So if you push in on that, you should be able to pull out on your air line. That way you're not having to fight with it. Try to cut it off and get everything stuck in there. Just push in on that collar, should come right out. We'll also get two new Schrader valves, comes with the caps and the nut to tighten that down, as well as four washers for the attachment.
We'll get 16 three-eighths flange nuts, some large fender washers, our two heat shields for our quarter-inch air line and then a small handful of red zip ties. So it should be, again, everything you need to get rolling again with your airbags on your Toyota Tundra. If you need any other accessories or replacement parts, we have a lot of options here at etrailer.com. We've got a lot of brackets and other things, Ts and things like that for your air line system, as well as compressors and all that good stuff. So definitely check it out if you're interested. Thanks for watching. Hope this video's been helpful, and we'll see you next time.
