Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the Replacement Flange Lock Nut for Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs. This is going to be a 5/16" 18 nut. This is going to be a direct replacement from Firestone for a missing or damaged locking flange nut for your Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs, especially if these are manufactured before 2015, and you have part number F2430.This is just going to allow you to have that locking flange nut. The 5/16" refers to the size of the bolt that it's going to fit. The actual head of the nut is going to work with a 1/2" socket or wrench. That'll just tighten down into your bolt with your Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs.
That's going to help you get those back to working properly, or replace that missing hardware. This comes as just a single lock nut, and the locking refers to the design of the nut on the bottom. As you can see, there's those little serrations all along that bottom edge, so that's going to grip into the metal on the bolt and hold it in place once it's torqued down properly. That's going to do it for our look at the Replacement Flange Lock Nut for Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs.
