Protect your hands while grabbing hot cookware, grilling, or working with your campfire with these professional grade, heat-resistant gloves. Rugged cut-resistant fabric with anti-slip silicone offers long-lasting durability and superior grip.
Features:
Note: Gloves are heat-resistant, not heatproof. Campfires can reach temperatures up to 2,000 F. Do not use while wet, as water will allow heat to pass through gloves.
Insulate your hands, wrists, and lower forearms from high temperatures with these heat-resistant gloves. While working with your campfire, barbecue grill, or oven, these gloves will protect your hands against severe burns and heat exposure. They offer protection against temperatures up to 932 F without limiting hand dexterity. The food-grade silicone grip lets you handle your food and cookware safely.
Made of multiple layers of thick cotton fibers and polyester, these gloves provide comfort and flexibility, and they fit most hand sizes. These fibers combine to offer exceptional protection and longevity.
The gloves have been vigorously tested and certified EN 388 and EN 407 by the European Committee for Standardization. The testing ensures the gloves meet and exceed quality and safety standards, providing you with cut resistance, as well as flammability, contact heat, convective heat, and radiant heat resistance.

Jake: Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at Fireside Outdoors Thermal Protection Gloves. Now these gloves are designed to give you a barrier between you and a hot surface. So you simply slip the glove on your hand. The inside is going to feature a nice cotton interior for the comfort of your hand for longterm use. They're designed to work with fire pits, barbecue grills, anything that you might be using, hot items.
So one of my favorite uses for these is going to be for a cast iron because cast iron doesn't have any barrier between you and the cast iron itself. I will tell you I've used these gloves before. You can pick up a burning log and it's not going to hurt you. Another impressive feature about them. But I will say you don't want to hold something for too long. They're rated for 932 degrees Fahrenheit for up to 10 seconds.
Would I recommend that Not at all. I can tell you for holding a log that's on fire for a couple of seconds, maybe five to 10 seconds, which is nowhere near 932 degrees. You can feel a little bit of warmth on the glove. I did hold a log a little bit earlier for about 15 to 20 seconds and it started to singe the outside of the glove. So just keep in mind, you want to do whatever you're doing safely, but in a timely manner. Now you'll notice on the entire glove, you're going to have these silicone diamond plate pattern.
What I like about these is that it's going to provide a slip resistant and the silicone is actually going to be rated for that heat resistant design for when you're using it in hot applications. So you're going to have a superior grip and you're going to have that protection from the heat. Now the gloves are also going to be cut resistant. So if you are cutting something, you're not going to have to worry about cutting your fingers off. The gloves are going to have a web designed in the material it's made out of is going to be cut resistant.
So you can see, I can take my thumb, run it across my brand new razor blade. And you're going to see there's no damage to the glove itself. The silicone might get cut up a little bit, but it's not going to go all the way through the silicone itself. Now another very popular use for these gloves is going to be for grilling. I know personally, when I'm grilling, I have a pair of welding gloves that I use. Those are a bit overkill for the purpose of grilling. They're also going to be very expensive. These are much more comfortable and much more pliable than the welding gloves that I have. But for the sake of charcoal grills, when you're having a party, you're going to be reloading the grill multiple times. So, you're going to need to add some more charcoal at some point. It is a pain in the neck to try to somehow remove this grate without burning yourself or without dropping it. With these gloves, you should be able to pick up the grate, have somebody reload the grill or set the grate to the side, reload it yourself, and place the grate back down in the grill without any worry that you might burn yourself. Now we've talked a lot about outdoor use and the use at a campsite. If you pick a pair of these up, you can use them wherever you want. You can use them inside your house. I've found that a great use for them is getting anything out of the oven that might be too hot to just grab. A lot of time oven mats will. If you put them around your hand and you go to grab something hot out of the oven, your thumb can slip off. Any of your fingers can slip off and potentially touch the hot item that's in the oven or the back of your hand can touch the grill grate. Even if they have this nice little pocket on the inside like ours has here, we don't have the double protection on this mat here. So what's nice about these. We don't have to worry about running into the top of the oven or on the grade itself. We just reach in, grab a what we need, get it out, and we don't have to worry about burning ourselves.Well guys, with all that being said, I hope you enjoyed this video of a review of the Fireside Outdoors, Thermal Protection Gloves.
