Today, we're going to be looking at EM09000. This is the Erickson Endless Lift Sling. The reason why it's called a endless lift sling is because it creates one big loop. There are no exposed ends. The strap's going to connect right here. It's got a heavy duty stitching design so it's built for strength and durability.
It's made from a durable synthetic construction so it's designed to perform well in many different applications. Bright yellow in color so it's highly visible and again, the heavy duty stitching ensures that's it's going to last a long time even under a lot of weight. Now, it's going to feature different weight capacities depending on how you use the strap. The strap dimensions though, it's going to give us a thickness or width of 1 in and overall length is going to be 8 ft long. The safe working load limit is going to be according to the different types application so there's what's called a basket style. I have a piece of lumber here today.
That way, I can just show you the different styles. Your basket style is basically going to be you wrapping the strap around the application numerous times and that creates a basket. Then your 2 loops simply come together around your attachment point and that's what you use to lift the load. Using that type of style, that's going to have a capacity of 4,200 lbs. That's going to be the highest rated capacity.
Then you're going to have your vertical application. Vertical is simple. That's basically where the loop just goes around the load and then the other end of the loop is where you connect whatever it is that you're using to lift it with and using it in this style, that's going to give you a capacity of 2,100 lbs. Then you have what's also called the choker application. This is where you place your strap around your load and then you bring it back through the opening and that's going to create a kind of choker style of carrying a load. Using it that way, that's going to give you a capacity of 1,680 lbs.
