Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at these Demco replacement side plates. These are going to replace the side plates for your 31,000 pound capacity Demco Hijacker UMS underbed 5th wheel trailer hitch. These side plates are going to be a direct replacement for the trailer hitch that you see on the screen there. So if you do have that, and you're needing to replace those original side plates, these are going to be a direct replacement from Demco. So you can trust they are gonna fit right in place of those originals.

You're not gonna need to worry about compatibility issues or anything like that. These will serve as the base for your hitch. They'll allow you to attach to your Ram's underbed rail system and just drop these feet into the factory pucks there, give them a twist to lock 'em in place and you'll be ready to go with that firm connection to your Ram's underbed rails. These are constructed of a sturdy steel so they are gonna hold up really well for you. They also have a black powder coat finish to help resist rust and corrosion.

So you are going to get the two side plates here, as well as instructions to help you install them. But it's a very, very simple process. And basically just bolting your saddle bracket in between these at the right height setting for your application. So very easy to get this installed in place of those originals.
