Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Replacement Wire Stick Hook for the Convert-A-Ball Gooseneck Adapters. Now this part here will replace the wire stick hook that's used to release the adapter from the gooseneck ball on your Convert-A-Ball Gooseneck Adapters. It does work with the part number CAB-C56, or CAB-C5GX1216. Both of those adapters we do sell separately on our website. And just to give you an idea of what we're talking about, I want to pop up an insert.
And if you look at that insert, you'll notice there's the gooseneck adapter, and then you'll see that latch, and then you can see how this will hook this end right here. We'll hook around it. The steel extension handle will let you slide that sliding latch to lock or unlock the coupler from outside your truck bed. Basically, once the coupler's engaged, then you if you look at that insert, you can hook the handle through the hole in the sliding latch's track to ensure that it remains securely coupled. Now this is a steel construction.
