Comparing Hawse and Roller Fairleads
The hawse fairleads are better for use with synthetic line as it won't catch in the corners of the rollers which are better for metal rope. So really it depends on what type of rope/line you plan to use. Wire rope go roller, synthetic rope go a hawse style.
