Hi everybody, my name is Andy with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna be taking a look at Coghlan's plastic tent twist anchor. This anchor is made out of POM, also known as acetal plastic, which will not break in extreme conditions. Actually, it can bend up to about 30 degrees without breaking, and it can return to its original shape. So because of the plastic that it's made from it is lightweight, yet strong and durable, and it does offer superior holding power in soil conditions such as sand or soft soil, and even in grass. And it also works in underwater situations. It's ideal for really multiple situations securing your tents and your awnings, where conventional pegs are prone to slip and fail.
And it's also great for tying down small watercraft, your kayaks and paddle boards. It features multiple ways, as you notice here, to tie rope and cord for a secure hold, either using this hook or this eyelet. So multiple ways to tie down whatever you need to tie down using this peg. Now, of course, it's bright orange for maximum visibility. Just to give you an idea of some of the measurements of this peg, the overall length of this peg sits at right about a little over 12 inches, about 12 1/2 inches.
And then at its widest point, it's a little over three inches, about 3 1/8 inches. So that concludes our look today at Coghlan's plastic tent twist anchor. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me today..
