Hi everybody. My name is Andy with etrailer.com. And today we're taking a look at Coghlan's nine inch long aluminum tent stakes. If you are looking for an ultra light set of tent stakes to secure your tent or your tarp or an awning. This might be the set for you. Let's take a closer look at them.

These are constructed from an anodized aluminum, which is very lightweight, yet durable. Because they are made of that anodized aluminum, they will resist rust and corrosion. And they're gonna last for quite a few years, and there'll be able to secure just about any tent or tarp or awning that you might want to secure. Now, as you can see, this does feature a three sided design that's gonna to give you extra holding power. And the notch here on the top of these stakes, they're going to make it very simple for you to secure your guylines.

And they're really a nice orange color, that are gonna make. The color's gonna make these stakes very visible. Not only so you don't trip on them when they are in the ground. But also so that you can find them for easy removal when you're ready to release your tent or your awning. And also speaking of removal, these stakes do have a nice a pull cord on each of the stakes.

So you can easily remove these from the ground. Now again, these are nine inches long. And we'll just confirm that measurement here. Now we're taking a close look at 'em. So we are sitting right at nine inches long with these stakes.

And the actual length that will probably be going in the ground is sitting probably right at about eight inches. The idea is you drive these stakes at about a 45 degree angle into the ground, right up to the notch. And so you'll probably have about eight inches of the stake actually in the ground. And then the width we are sitting right at about a half inch wide. Now you will get a quantity of four, as you see here. And if you're looking for tent stakes of a similar length, nine inches.
