Note: Tie-down anchors must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the anchors being used. For example, if you are using anchors with a WLL of 100 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 400 lbs, then you need at least 4 anchors to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use anchors in pairs.

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the CargoSmart Anchor Strap for E-Track or X-Track Systems. This unit creates a secure tie-down point. It can be quickly repositioned anywhere on your track system, and it's an easy tool-free installation. We have the fitting over here. This is your X-Track or E-Track fitting, which engages into the X-Track or E-Track anchor slot. The available space inside the attachment ring right here side-to-side, inside edge to inside edge, is about 2" wide.
From the top of the strap right here to the bottom of the ring, this space, measures about 1-3/4". The unit itself measures about 2" wide by 6" long. The diameter of the ring, that steel material, is 5/16". The ring and the fitting have a nice durable steel construction and protective finishing to keep them safe from rust and corrosion.Safe working load limit is 667 pounds. Maximum load or break strength is 2000 pounds.
It's very easy to use. I do have a piece of X-Track here just to show you. Basically what you need to do is lift up on this fitting on that little lever there and engage the fitting into the anchor slot, and that's all there is to it. It's a really nice design. Easy to use.
We have the bright orange strap color here, so it's highly visible. Then to remove it you simply just lift up on that spring-loaded button and disengage it from the track. Now please keep in mind that tie-down anchors must be chosen according to their safe working load limit, so the weight of your secured cargo must not exceed the combined working load limit of the anchors being used. The straps have been to Idaho and back plus all over AZ holding down my SxS. Works great !!
