Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today I'm gonna take a look at this replacement half inch diameter anti rattle hitch pin and clip for the Curt Bike Racks. Now this is a replacement anti rattle hitch pin. It's designed to fit the Curt bike racks part number 18020, 18021, 18030, 18064, and the 18065. All those bike racks we do sell separately on our website.
Basically this pin here is designed to hold the bike rack shank in the receiver tube to the vehicle's hitch, and then you can tighten it down using a three quarter inch wrench to prevent any vibrations or noise. This package will include everything shown here includes the anti rattle pin, the clip and the hardware all for installation. Now if you notice what's nice, is the clip itself has this key ring attached to it, and that's to keep it from losing from, keep from losing your clip and keep it attached to a key ring. But basically when you go to install this, you'll slide it in and then thread this into the shank of your bike rack, tighten it all the way down, and then put your clip on the other side there and you're all ready to go.
