Now this part here is a replacement choker spring on the Curt Quick Goose 2 Hitch. This choker spring is installed on the red grip handle of the gooseneck hitch, and it makes the handle spring loaded. So basically when you rotate that handle, it'll raise the gooseneck ball on the hitch, and then, after the ball is raised, your handle, when you turn it, will retract inward and locks the ball into place.
