Today we're going to review part number BDW20158, this is a Bulldog one piece dust cover with the wire tether. This one piece dust cover is designed to fit on the Bulldog 175 amp quick connect connectors that are used when attaching your winch to your vehicle and you want to be able to take your winch off, you can just disconnect it instead of having to wire or rewire it. I have an example here of the 175 amp quick connectors and basically what those are is, your wires will go in here and your terminals will be in here. Same way on this one and what it allows you to do is when you want to put your winch on to your vehicle you just push it together and that'll make your connection and when you do want to remove the winch from your vehicle, you just unplug it. The dust cover, what it's used for is on one of these connectors that might be on your vehicle, instead of having your terminals in here exposed, you just take this one piece dust cover, line it up, push it right on there and it protects those terminals from the elements. The wire tether that's attached to this you'd attach to the vehicle to keep you from losing it so when you pull it off it'll still stay attached to the vehicle and you won't lose the dust cover.
