Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Aries custom running board mounting kit. Now this kit is going to allow you to install the Aries ActionTrak motarized running boards on your vehicle. Now this is a custom fit, so it is going to make it very easy for you to get those ActionTrak running boards installed on your 2014 through 2018 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 crew cab pickups, as well as your 2015 through 2019 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500 HD crew cab pickups. So if you have any of those vehicles these are going to be very easy to get installed. They're designed specifically for your vehicle so you're not gonna have to do any drilling.
It's all going to use the preexisting factory holes in your vehicle, so very simple to get installed. They do include very detailed instructions to walk you through that installation process step-by-step so you can make sure that everything's getting installed the way it's supposed to. So we're going to get these 8 steel brackets that are very strong and durable. They have a weight capacity of 650 pounds. They also have a black powder coat finish that's gonna help resist rust and corrosion.
So they'll last long time for you even up under your vehicle where they'll be exposed to salts and different elements like that. We're also going to get these two LED lights that will mount on the brackets to improve your visibility and ensure a safe entry and exit. We also have this split wiring harness that's going to install directly to your vehicle's battery via your door panels so that you can power up everything. So everything you're gonna need to get these installed except for the running boards themselves, is included here. So very simple installation with these custom fit brackets.
It is gonna be pretty detailed but it shouldn't be too extreme for you if you're following those directions, it'll walk you through that process.
