Hollywood Racks Threaded Hitch Lock Review- Video
Today, we have the Hollywood Racks Threaded Locking Hitch Pin. So this is gonna be used with your Hollywood Racks bike racks or other accessories, you can double check our description here at etrailer and make sure you get the right part for you. We're gonna talk about which situations you might need this for as well as how to use it. Since this is a threaded pin, it's usually that way, so that it becomes an anti-rattle device, and that's why this needs to be used with Hollywood Racks accessories, because the thread on those accessories need to match the pin for it to work, this might not work for other brands' accessories. So the size of the pin and the lock, for the overall length is 5 7/8 of an inch, for the span, which is your usable space within the pin, that's gonna be three inches and 5/8 of an inch. To use it, first, get your bike rack into the hitch receiver, then line up the hitch pin hole on your rack with the hitch pin hole in your hitch receiver. more

Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Hollywood Racks Threaded Hitch Lock for two inch hitches. Now, this locking hitch pin here will secure your bike rack to your vehicle, helps protect your bike rack from any theft. Basically, this hitch lock pin right here you can see has threads on it, and this pin will insert through your hitch pin holes that's on your two inch hitch, and then those threads will thread into the shank of your Hollywood Racks bike rack. And basically, what you'll do then is you tighten it all the way down and take a 3/4 inch wrench, tighten it a little bit further, and that'll help reduce any rattle or wobble between the shank that's inserted in your hitch. And then to lock it, you just take this push-to-lock body, you do wanna make sure it's in the locking position. more

This hitch lock is going to secure your Kuat bike rack to your one and a quarter inch hitch. And this is going to work with all NV 2.0, NV 2.0 base and Sherpa 2.0 bike racks. And on the lock body, as you can see here, we do have this dust cap that will keep the dirt and moisture out of the lock body itself and that secures very well there. So I don't think that's going to flip open by itself. It has a pretty good contact when you actually snap that shut. more

Flint Hill Goods Lock Review FHG54ZR- Video
Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at this locking hitch pin from Flint Hill Goods. This is gonna have a 3 1/2 inch span, that's the inside edge to inside edge, so it's gonna make it a good fit for two inch or 2 1/2 inch receiver tubes. It's a 5/8 inch diameter pin, so it'll fit any standard hitch pin hole. Now, on my particular hitch, it's just a little hard to get to just because of the clearance I have with this plastic fascia, but it is really easy to put in otherwise. And then for the key, it's not a push to lock core, so you do have to apply some pressure to it in the unlocked position, which is honestly really awkward and hard to do. more

Now, this kit is going to include this stainless steel trailer hitch receiver lock and this stainless steel latch lock for your trailer's coupler. Now, let's take a look at this hitch lock first. This is going to replace the standard pin and clip to prevent theft of your ball mount, the diameter is 5/8 of inch, and this is going to fit Class 3, 4, and 5 receivers. And I'm gonna pull out my ruler here just to give you a measurement of the overall length, and we are sitting right out almost seven inches, about 6 7/8 inches long, and then the usable pin length or the span from here to here, we're sitting right at 3 1/2 inches long. more

Curt 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches Base Rail Lock Review- Video
Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're going to be going over the CURT base rail lock for fifth wheel trailer hitches. So, if you're one of those people who like to leave their fifth wheel hitch in the truck bed permanently, you can certainly do that. These fifth wheel hitches are very heavy so it's not something you really want to be moving in and out of your truck each day, or each time you get done towing. So a lot of people actually just leave them in the truck bed permanently, they may even get a tunnel cover to protect them from the elements. However, we still are going to be vulnerable by leaving the fifth wheel hitch in the truck bed there if we ever leave our truck unattended. Although I don't think everyone's going to be capable to come up in the truck bed, remove the pins, pull the fifth wheel hitch out, and take off down the road with it, I certainly wouldn't put it past everyone. more

Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the RoadMaster hitch lock locking hitch pin for tow bars. So generally included with your tow bar is gonna be a standard hitch pin and clip. Now these are great and they function fine, but a tow bar is a big investment and something that you don't want disappearing in the hands of someone else. So having the hitch lock, you can simply clip this in place. It does have a cap for the key hole to keep it nice and clean, and this isn't gonna come off, so no one's gonna be walking away with your tow bar. The hitch pin is a standard 5/8 hitch pin, which is gonna be great for any two-inch hitches that use the 5/8. more

Master Lock Hitch Receiver and Coupler Latch Lock Set Review- Video
Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Master Lock hitch and coupler lock set for hitches that have a 5/8 hitch pin, as well as those that have a half-inch size hitch pin. So I will say probably one of the best things about this kit is the fact that you can have a hitch lock as well as your coupler lock that share the same key. That way you don't have to constantly kind of keep track of what key does what. You can have one on your key ring and know that it's going to unlock both of your locks. So since this kit does come with multiple items, let's kind of run through them one by one and check them out and see how they work. more

So the quality of hitch mounted accessories today is very good. You know, there's a lot of really nice things, whether it be a ball mount like this here, or a bike rack, cargo carrier, whatever the case may be people are going to notice that. Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we gonna take a quick look at this Fulton Stainless Steel Hitch Lock for two inch hitches. This is going to make sure that any of your hitch mount accessories, like a ball mount, cargo carrier, bike rack is gonna stay inside your hitch, it's not gonna wiggle it's way free and it's not going to be easily stolen. This lock is going to have this square key design, so it's gonna be much harder to pick. Once we get it unlocked, can pull the head off there, and you can see, we do have this ball bearing lock style. So that's gonna be a little bit more secure than some of your other styles that have more of a tapered connection there that the lock attaches onto. more

And there's some really nice products out there whether it be a ball mount like this, a bike rack, cargo carrier, or whatever the case may be. You wanna keep your investment protected and with a traditional style pin and clip like this that's really not gonna do the job. This isn't stopping anyone from taking your accessory very quick. more
