Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this T-Style Hook and Keeper Door Holder. This is going to keep your trailer door open when you're loading and unloading. Basically the way this is gonna work you're gonna mount it onto your trailer door and the side of your trailer where that door is going to open up to. You can see this is gonna hang down when you're not using it and then when you're ready to, you open up the door slide that T portion in there, that's going to hold that door open for you. This is a 10 inch long hook, so it is gonna be ideal for your doors that have an obstruction or that won't sit flush with the side of your trailer when open. more

Hi there Forest River owners. Today on your 2015 Forest River Vengeance, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Redline's bumper and plunger in a two inch length for a door stopper and holder. The plunger and bumper from Redline is gonna be an easy way for you to keep a door in the open position, and also to prevent it from contacting any of your components to cause damage to those components. So this is a really nice setup if you don't have a solution for your door, if your door just swings open. There are some other options, you can get just, like, the plunger with the bumper on it to where it would just hit the door to keep it from damaging any of your components. There's also another style where it's like a hook, where you'll hook it into either the door or the other side here, and it's just a metal hook that holds it. more

Redline Plastic Stem and Rubber Socket Door Holder Installation- Video
Hey guys, Kevin here with etrailer, and today, we're gonna be taking a look at Redline's plastic stem and rubber socket door holder. Our neighbor today came to us with an issue that his door just kind of swings around in the wind, because there's nothing really holding it. There's no gas strut, there's no chain kind of holding the top or bottom of the door in place. So anytime he opens his trailer while he's working, it just swings around wildly in the wind, especially if his trailer's not level. And when you're out at the job site, your trailer is most likely never gonna be level. So the solution today is gonna be our Redline plastic stem and rubber socket door holder. more

Today in your 2021 Jayco Greyhawk we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Polaris' Replacement Door Latch. This is gonna be a direct replacement for your existing door latches. It has similar mounting holes and sizes, so that way, it will line right up, so you don't have to drill any additional holes into your motor home. It's a metal upgrade, so if you had a plastic one before, you'll now have a metal one. So, you don't have to worry about it breaking like your old one did. Colin: Hey, everyone, it's Colin here at etrailer. And today, I'm going to take some time to show you guys these JR products: hooks and keepers. Basically what these are going to do for you is you mount them to the sides of your trailer, whether it's your enclosed trailer, or maybe your RV, and this just going to give you a way to prop open your door.So, for example, for loading and unloading this utility trailer, what we can do is open up the door and then put that wand into the keeper. And what that's going to do is keep our door propped open so that when we're loading and unloading our cargo, the door's not going to swing closed while we're trying to go in and out. And these wands are about three inches long, so it's going to keep your door pretty flush against the side of your trailer or your camper.You see we have it in polar white right now. It matches our trailer very nicely, but it is also available in other colors. more

Colin: Hey guys, it's Colin here at etrailer and today, I'm just going to take some time to show you guys these JR Products hooking keepers. Basically, what these are going to do is just hold the side door or the back swinging doors of your enclosed trailer or camper open so that you can go in and out with ease, don't have to worry about opening the door every time you want to go in. So for days like today where there's actually a breeze going, what we can do is just open up the door, put the wand into the keeper just like that, it's very simple. And from there, it's just going to hold the door open so we can go in and out, load and unload as we please.Now with these certain hooking keepers, a six inch version, they are available in a lot of different constructions and colors. For these plastic ones, you can see we have the Polar White which matches our trailer very well. We have this Colonial White in the middle and then black as well, so you can choose the one that's going to best match your trailer, whichever one you want. more

Jeff: Today we're going to take a look at the Buyers Products aluminum four-inch door hold back with the hook and keeper for enclosed trailer doors. This hook and keeper is used to hold doors and windows open on your enclosed trailer, horse trailer or toy hauler. The spring-loaded latch mechanism right here on the keeper holds the door open to prevent unwanted closing. It is a zinc-plated aluminum design, and the hook length measured from here to here is about four inches. But basically right now it's hooked, so if you want to unhook it, you just push in on this latch and release it. That'll fall down and then it'll close. more

So this is just going to be a pretty simple way to keep the door on your RV or your enclosed trailer open. So the little nub here is going to just fit inside the keeper. This is going to be made of a rubber material, so it does have some give to it, so it'll stretch and conform around that little nub, and it should just pop into place. And I don't want to push that all the way in there, since I don't have the screws in place, it might be kind of hard to get out without it actually being attached, but that's basically how this is going to work. more

These are going to mount onto the body of your trailer and onto the trailer door or window. They're going to interconnect like so, so that your door or window will stay open. This is going to be a very solid connection as you can see. You'll have to bring the door or window closer in to get that latch raised up, so that they will come apart again.Both of these components are made of stainless steel, so they're going to hold up very well for you. more

Polar Hardware Enclosed Trailer Parts - Doors - PLR62-66 Review- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the plunger and rubber socket door holder. This kit will hold your trailer door in the open position with ease by mounting one part to the door and the other part to the side of your trailer. Typically, the plunger which is this piece right here, this gets mounted to the door. The socket gets mounted to the trailer body and when you swing open your door, the plunger goes into the socket and that's going to hold your trailer door in the open position. Really nice, tight secure fit. The unit's made from a zinc plated steel construction. Does a really good job at resisting rust and corrosion. We're going to take a look at some of the measurements real quick starting with the plunger. more

Redline Enclosed Trailer Parts - Doors - DH39R Review- Video
Today, we're going to take a look at the plastic stem and the rubber socket door holder. Now this part will hold trailer doors open with ease by mounting one part to the door, the other to the side of your trailer, and then when you push it together, the stem will actually insert into that rubber socket and hold the door open. Once it's installed in there, it does create a two and a quarter inch gap between the trailer and the door when in use.Now the metal parts in this socket, there is a metal part that's threaded here. It is zinc plated to resist rust and corrosion. This part also can be used on windows if you'd like. A few dimensions on this, the overall length on the stem, we're right at two inches and the length on the rubber socket is one and three eighths inches. more

Redline Enclosed Trailer Parts - Doors - DH38R Review- Video
Today, we're going to just take a look at the Plastic Stem and the Rubber Socket Door Holder. These parts will hold your trailer doors open with ease by mounting one part to the door, the other to the side of your trailer. Then when you push it into there, that would actually go in further and would hold securely your doors open. When it does go in there, it'll create a 1 3/8" gap between the trailer and the door when it's in use.Now, there is a metal part right at the bottom of the socket that has threads in it. That is zinc plated to help resist rust and corrosion. This part actually could also be used on windows if you'd like. more

Today we're going to be take a look at the Polar hardware plunger and rubber socket door holder. Now this part is designed to hold your trailer door open with ease by mounting one part to the door, one to the other side of your trailer, and then as you push the door the plunger will go into the rubber socket and hold it in the open position. These parts have a nice zinc plating to them. Going to give you a few dimensions on this. We're going to start with the plunger. We're going to measure the mounting hole dimension center to center. If we go center to center, it's right at 2". more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Hook and Keeper for enclosed trailers. A Hook and Keeper is used to hold doors and windows open on your enclosed trailer. One piece is mounted to the side of the trailer, typically this piece right here. The other is mounted to the door, which would typically be this piece right here. Once you open your door the hook goes into the keeper, and that's going to hold the door, or window, on your enclosed trailer in the open position. Nice secure connection point right there. Each piece is going to feature the pre-drilled mounting holes. more
