Today, you're going to be taking a look at, I'm going to be walking you through the installation on the Draw-Tite Class 5 trailer hitch receiver on our 2013 Ford E350 van.Adding a hitch like this to your van is going to give you a lot of different capabilities for hauling different sized trailers. For a couple instances here, maybe you are a construction worker, you need to haul a large generator to a construction site. Maybe you own a canoe company, you haul a trailer full of canoes, but you want to be able to haul the passengers that are using those canoes. Maybe you're hauling a large trailer that has a lot of band equipment in it and you want to haul the band along too. Trailer Hitch Installation - 2009 Ford Van - Draw-Tite- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2009 Ford van we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Class V Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 41945.My overall impression of the hitch is that it is an extremely heavy duty hitch. We're going to be able to tow a rather heavy trailer and not have to worry about the tongue weight on it. At the same time, we're going to have the versatility to add a bike rack or a cargo carrier to free up some space inside our van.It is a class V, it is going to sit right below the bumper and that cross tube is going to be visible. It's going to give us a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening. We're going to have a lot of different options available for any kind of accessory that we want to mount ranging from a ball mount, bike rack, or a cargo carrier.The way we're going to mount all of our accessories is going to be the hitch pin hole here, which is going to be towards the front. It's going to accept the standard 5/8 pin and clip. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Ford van, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite class three custom fit trailer hitch receiver, part number 75703.Here's what our hitch looks like when it's fully installed. It's going to sit right below the bumper and the cross tube is going to visible just right below that bumper there. Now this is a class three hitch, which means it's going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening and as you can see, it has a reinforced collar, not only giving it strength but also a nice finished look.Now, our hitch is going to use a standard five-eighths pin and clip. That's going to be the hole closest to our van. Now they're not included but you can pick some up on our website using part number PC3. The second hole here is going to be for the J pin stabilization device and that's going to be great if any of our accessories don't have a built in anti-rattle. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2003 Ford Van - Draw-Tite- Video
Speaker 1: Today in our 2003 Ford van, we will be having a look at, and installing, the Draw-Tite Max Frame Class Three trailer hitch receiver, part number 75703.Our hitch sticks out past our bumper a little bit, and we have adequate clearance around the receiver opening from any part of the vehicle, which means this hitch is gonna work great for basically every hitch-mounted accessory on the market.We have two holes on the side of our receiver. The larger one that's closest to the front of the vehicle, that's our industry standard, five eights of an inch diameter hitch pin hole to secure hitch-mounted accessories. You can pick up the hitch pin and clip on our website as part number PC3. Closer to the rear of the receiver, that's a smaller hole for a J-Pin stabilization device. What that does is take away the annoying shaped plane rattle out of what you have inserted into your receiver. We have those available separately on our website as well.Welded on the end of our receiver we have this nice collar here to help give us a more finished look and to help reinforce our receiver opening. more

Speaker 1: Today, in our 2003 Ford van, we'll be having a look at and installing the Curt Class three trailer hitch receiver, part number 13053. Now we found that this hitch works great for people that have cargo vans, for construction companies or service companies, for towing trailers. Or if you have a conversion van, such as this one which is meant to carry a lot of passengers, it works great for hauling your cargo in a cargo carrier, towing a trailer or using a bike rack to get to your destination.Our hitch tucks up nicely against our real bumper here, making it easy for us to hook up to our trailer. On the side of our hitch, you'll find our industry standard, five eighth of an inch diameter pin hole to secure any of our hitch mounted accessories.Welded onto the bottom of our receiver and the frame of our hitch, we have our plate style inaudible 00:00:49. Fairly decent size opening so we shouldn't have much problem, if any, hooking up our safety chains from our trailer onto our hitch. We have this nice welded on collar to give us a more finished appearance on our hitch and to reinforce the receiver opening.This hitch features a 500 pound tongue weight rating, which is the amount forcing down. more
