Curt Echo In-Line Wireless Brake Controller Installation - 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video

Welcome to etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Curt Echo inline trailer brake controller that can be controlled from a button in the cab or an app on your phone. The button is sold separately, and we'll be installing it today on a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2,500. But as long as you have a 7-way USCAR connection on your vehicle, you can follow along. The installation's gonna be almost identical. Unlike most trailer brake controllers which are gonna install in the cab, this one's all underneath the vehicle so you don't have to worry about banging your knees every time you get in and out of the truck or having to worry about something just taking up additional space. more

Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video

Today, on our 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller for 1 to 4 Axles, Part number 90195. This is what your kit is going to consist of. It's going to have your brake controller. It's going to have a metal bracket and a quick connect bracket, if you want to make your brake controller portable for one vehicle to the next. If you choose to do that, it does come with this nice, padded sleeve it's going to fit into, and it does come with a plug for hard wiring it into your truck. We've chosen to use the adapter plug that's going to go from our GM product into the back of our controller, Part number 3016. It's going to make our job a little bit easier. more

Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Takonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller. This is a proportional controller that works for one up to four axles. Part number is 90195. Also, to complete the install we're going to be using the Takonsha Plug-in Wiring Adapter for Electronic Brake Controllers. Part number on that, 3016. With our load tester connected, as I start to slide over the manual override, you're slowly going to see that both the current and the voltage increasing. more

Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 TK90160- Video

Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Tekonsha Primus IQ Proportional Trailer Brake Controller. This works for one up to three axles. Part number on it is TK90160. We're also going to be using the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for brake controllers, part number 3016. Now with our load tester connected, as I start to slide over the manual override you're slowly going to see both the current and the voltage increasing. Just depending on how rapidly we press that lever it's going to be how quickly that signal's going to go to the back. Now this is a proportional controller. more
