Installation Guide for the Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Braking System - 2024 Ford Maverick- Video
Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today, we have a 2024 Ford Maverick and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Demco Stay-in-Play Duo supplemental braking system. In addition to your supplemental braking system, you're gonna need four other main flat towing components in order to safely flat tow your Ford Maverick. One is going to be your tow bar, another one is going to be your diode wiring, your safety chains, and then your base plate. A supplemental braking system in your Ford Maverick is going to be designed to apply the brakes in the Maverick while you're flat towing it behind your motor home. Motor homes are not designed to stop a vehicle when it's stopping itself. more

Hey, everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2023 Ford Maverick, we're gonna be showing you how to install the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit. Before we get into that though, let's just take a couple minutes and talk about why it's a good idea to use something like this. The Brake-Lite Relay Kit is really gonna have one purpose, and that is allow your lighting functions to operate correctly. Alright, so let's say if you didn't have the Brake-Lite Relay Kit installed, what would happen is the motor home's brake light signal would override the turn signal back on your Maverick. So, more or less, just to kind of give you an example, let's say if you we're making a left turn at a stoplight, right So you're on the brakes, and you got your left turn signal going. more

Hello neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Demco Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System on a 2022 Ford Maverick. Now this kit is gonna be available in two different configurations. They're gonna install the same but really you're just choosing between the wireless coachlink and the LED indicator light. And one of them is just gonna let you know when you have your lights on by using an LED signal that you mount on the vehicle. The wireless coachlink though will send the signal wirelessly to the dash of your RV, to a monitor letting you know when the brakes are being applied. more
