Yakima FatCat Ski and Snowboard Racks Review - 2016 Nissan Versa Note- Video

Today on our 2016 Nissan Versa Note, we're doing a test fit of the Yakima FatCat 6 Locking Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Carrier. That part number is Y03088. Now we already have the front half of our carrier in place. We're going to show you how we secure our back portion down since it is the same way. We'll start by placing on our carrier, making sure those straps go down around our crossbar, and then we want to make sure that it's lined up with the front. We're going to take our strap, we're going to test it to see if that strap is long enough. It's just under long enough so what we'll do is we'll loosen up that strap by using this red knob here. more

Thule Ski and Snowboard Racks Review - 2016 Nissan Versa Note- Video

Today on our 2016 Nissan Versa Note we're doing a test fit of the Tule Snow Pack Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Carrier. That part number is TH7326. Now we already have our front half in place and secured down we are going to show you our back half because it is the same exact way. What we will start by doing is placing our carrier on and making sure that our feet are all facing the same way and that our carrier is pretty well lined up evenly with the front. Then we'll go in and we will take our strap and we are going to stick it around into the spot where it connects and then on the back hand side here that you can see either back here in the front we have our knob and we're just going to start to tighten that rotating it towards the passenger side here. That's just going to secure that strap around our crossbar and tighten it in place. With that one completely tight we will move around and do the same thing on the opposite side. more

Today, on our 2016 Nissan Versa Note, we're doing a test fit of the RockyMounts LiftOp Biggie Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Carrier. That part number is RKY1482. Now, we've already got the front half our our carrier in place. We're going to show you how we do the second half, since it is the same way. I'm going to start by making sure that my feet are both facing toward the back, and I'm going to slide this over, and line it up with our front carrier. Now, it may be a good idea to get an extra set of hands just to hold that other side, since it doesn't balance very well on its own. more
