Yakima FatCat Ski and Snowboard Carrier Review - 2012 Dodge Charger

Today on our 2012 Dodge Charger, we'll be test-fitting the Yakima FatCat 6 Locking Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Carrier with the Six Ski or Four Board Capacity, part number Y03088. With the roof rack system already assembled on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the front part of the carrier onto the front crossbar. We'll open up the jaws to expose the two black levers. We'll bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the underside of the crossbar, and hook them back into the top black bracket. We'll then tighten down the black levers then clamp them down, securing the front part of the carrier to the front crossbar. We'll now place the rear part of the carrier onto the rear crossbar, and repeat the same steps. Once both pieces of the carrier are secured to our Dodge Charger, we're ready to load on some gear. We'll push in the oversized buttons at the end of the carrier to open up the jaws. more
