How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Thule XT Rooftop Cargo Box on our 2021 Nissan Murano. Adding a cargo box to the rooftop of your Murano is gonna help solve the issue of having limited cargo space. So something like this guy right here is gonna allow you to take advantage of that negative space to get those bigger, bulkier items out on the road with you for your adventure. As a Murano owner, you already know that your cargo space is pretty limited, so if you maxing out the back of your vehicle, adding on the roof box to the top is gonna be great, and then you can see that there's no interference with the roof box while the cargo hatch is open. Hi, Matt with Etrailer, and today we're talking about the Thule XT Motion roof box on top of our 2024 Kia Telluride. Now, this is gonna be especially a great option for you because this is a really big roof box, and this is gonna offer you a lot of storage, especially since the Kia doesn't, or the Kia Telluride doesn't have a whole lot of space in the back, because really you're gonna have room for people sitting in the back, and then that very back hatch area is only gonna be maybe a foot or two of space. So if you do plan on taking any longer trips, this is gonna be a great way to carry your gear or luggage from point A to point B. Today we're really just gonna be talking about how this is gonna look on top of your vehicle and how it's gonna interact with either your hatch or just in general using it. How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Yakima SkyBox NX on the top of our 2023 Hyundai Tucson. Adding a rooftop box is gonna help solve the issue that you encounter with the Tucson and other vehicles in this size as far as not having a lot of cargo space. This is gonna allow you to get those bigger, bulkier items on the road with you, and the main benefit over a cargo basket, everything will be enclosed, so you're protecting it from the elements. The SkyBox NX has the nano-texture that's gonna allow you to have scratch resistance, and it also looks pretty nice on top of the vehicle. Your handle is a locking handle and it will not allow you to remove the key when the box is unlocked, so you don't have to worry about losing it. It's an extra measure to keep you from, you know, losing track of your key. more

Anything like skis or that extra luggage that you don't want sitting outside of your vehicle getting wet. So let's check it out. The concern you might have, especially since a lot of Siennas do come with factory bars, is will this fit or not Well, if you look right here, we still have plenty of room to clamp on around that bar. Hey everyone, it's Evangeline, and today we'll be taking a look at the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 and we'll see how it fits on our 2024 Nissan Pathfinder. This specific Pathfinder is going to be the Rock Creek Edition, so it has slightly different crossbars than you may be used to, but this will also work on your other trims of Pathfinders as long as they have crossbars. If you're looking to expand the cargo space on your Pathfinder, because maybe you wanna carry around some extra bags, some gears, some skis and snowboards, you also wanna make sure that that cargo is protected. Well, the Yakima SkyBox NX is one of my preferred roof boxes to recommend. This is gonna be a very versatile roof box. We have some good height for those suitcases and luggage, but you'll also have the length to carry around a lot of that cargo. more

How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Yakima 16 Cubic Foot SkyBox NX on our 2022 Kia Sorento. Adding a cargo box is the solution to the problem of how are you gonna be able to increase your cargo area if you have a full house on the inside of the vehicle. So if your Sorento has the third row like this model here, you know with that back row flipped up, you have practically no cargo area and this is gonna allow you to compensate for that, 'cause otherwise your roof would be bare and it doesn't have any space so you're making use of some useless area. The standout feature on the SkyBox NX is the nano finish that is scratch resistant and also pretty sharp looking on top of your vehicle. It's built to basically conceal any scratches or abrasions that may come up on the surface. The box itself is pretty large. more

Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 rooftop box and seeing how it fits on the top of our 2024 Kia Telluride. So the NX 16 is a 16 cubic foot roof box and offer a pretty good amount of storage for the top of your Telluride. Now as we're looking at this, just keep in mind that there is a larger version available, an 18 cubic foot version of this box. So if you like the way it looks and the way it functions, but you need more space, that 18 cubic foot version would be a good fit for the Telluride too. But a roof box is a great way to add storage to your vehicle, whether the back is full of passengers and you need somewhere to put their stuff, or maybe you just have some messier stuff that you want to keep out of the vehicle. more

I'm Adam with etrailer. And today we're talking about the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 roof box on top of our 2020 Toyota Highlander. This is a great option for you if you're running outta space in the back of your car and you need to put your items somewhere else, this is a great option for you, especially if you wanna keep 'em out of the elements. The first thing we're gonna take a look at is the inside of the box. So we're gonna have to open it up using our included key and unlocking this. When I push it up, you notice it's a little stiff, but it's gonna be held in place by those hinge locks, and that's gonna allow me to keep it open without using my arms to keep it open. more

Today, we're gonna be taking a look at our small cargo quick base system for your roof, and we're gonna take a look at how it fits our 2021 Toyota RAV4. So this is part of the Inno quick base system where, as long as you get an Inno quick base, you can mount your different cargo accessories to your roof or to your hitch super quickly and easily. Now, this is gonna consist of two components where we have our quick base tray for the roof and we have our gear carry six cubic foot cargo box. So this is gonna be one of my favorite kits available here at Etrailer just because it makes for a very portable system. It does sit on the smaller sides in terms of cargo space, but that's just what you get for having something that's very easy to move around. more

Your short bed is gonna be, you know, pretty limited for space, so you can take advantage of your rooftop to get those bigger, bulkier items on the road along with you. Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2022 Nissan Armada- Video
How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Yakima 16 cubic foot SkyBox NX on our 2022 Nissan Armada. The SkyBox is gonna give you more cargo area to accommodate about three people to give you more space to carry the bigger, bulkier items that may not fit in your Armada if you're maxed out on capacity as far as passengers, and you have your third row up. This is a real good way to just maximize the space that's already available to you on the roof. The SkyBox is lockable and you're able to open it from both sides of your vehicle. And if you take a look on the inside of this guy, you can see that you have plenty of space with the clamps being almost flush. They are adjustable to meet the requirements for different types of crossbars, but just about any position that you have it on the roof, you're gonna be able to get it secured to the top pretty easily. more

Hi, everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today, we'll be taking a look at the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Rooftop Box and seeing how it fits on the top of our 2024 Subaru Outback. Now, if you're looking to expand the cargo space of your Outback and you want to utilize that factory roof rack since you already have it, the SkyBox is gonna be a great way to do it, and there's a number of reasons for that. For one, it's a pretty sizable box, giving you 16 cubic feet of storage space. But two, the factory roof rack sits really close to the top of the roof on your Outback, and that can present problems for certain clamp round accessories just not having the room or maybe making contact with that painted surface on your roof. The low-profile clamps on the SkyBox are gonna work great with your factory bars on your Outback, making it, in my opinion, the perfect solution. more

SportRack SkyLine XL Cargo Box Review- Video
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have the SportRack SkyLine XL Roof Box. This is gonna be an affordable or entry level way to expand your cargo space. That way, maybe you're going on a long trip or you need to carry around a lot of items, instead of fitting them into your vehicle you can put them up here. Now we're gonna get into the dimensions as we load this up with cargoes we can talk about what does that actually mean in terms of bags, suitcases, duffel bags, skis. Well, if you're familiar with how to choose a rooftop box which is a segment I do for different roof boxes, I label this as definitely more suitcases versus skis because of its size and shape. The box is made of a polyethylene material that is UV resistant which is important because if you're gonna keep this on your roof, then you wanna make sure that the elements, whether it's rain, water, or sunshine don't affect the insides of this. more

Hi, Matt with etrailer, and today we we're gonna be talkin' about the Yakima Skybox NX 16 rooftop cargo box on the 2023 Toyota Highlander. Now the Highlander does have a lot of space, especially in the back hatch area over here, but if you fill it up all the way with additional people in that third row, you might be very limited on the space. So if you're hauling any gear or luggage or camping supplies, this roof box is gonna be a great option to keep your items safe, secured, and kind of outta the way so you can fit more people in your vehicle. Now you won't be able to install the the sky box if you don't have a roof rack so always make sure you have a roof rack that is compatible with your roof box. Your sky box is gonna come with two included keys and that'll just be used to access your handle right up here just in that lock core. The nice thing about this roof box is you have two handles on each side so you can access it from either side and, to open it up, you just gotta push and you'll feel it lock in place with these hinge locks on the side. more

Hi, Matt with etrailer. And today, we're gonna be talking about the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Cargo Box on top of the 2023 Jeep Gladiator. We have our SkyBox on our ladder rack, which is just gonna be a nice option for us too. Since we have it all the way to the end, it's gonna be really easy to access just from the bed of our truck, just so we're not reaching high up on the outside. Now, it's gonna be a great option if you're traveling with people, your cab's already filled up, and you need somewhere to keep your luggage or any additional gear, but you don't wanna keep it out in your bed, because it's gonna be in the weather conditions, so the SkyBox is gonna be a great alternative to store some of your smaller, not as big and bulky items. The reason the 16 is in the name is because it can hold up to 16 cubic feet of storage in your box, so that kind of equates to about three people's worth of stuff. more

Yakima CBX Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2023 Kia Seltos- Video
Hi, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, I have the Yakima CBX 18 Rooftop Cargo Box, and we're gonna take a look at how it fits our 2023 Kia Seltos. For your Seltos, if you want a little bit more cargo capacity, maybe you're going on a long trip, you have your friends in your car, but you also have maxed out the space in the hatch, well, you can get a rooftop cargo box to help out with that. It's gonna be an enclosed cargo carrier, which means it protects your cargo from the outside elements. And with this fitting on the Seltos, I do have the 18 cubic feet box, it actually does fit, meaning you can still open up your hatch and it doesn't cover up your window. Yakima GrandTour 18 Cubic Ft Premium Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2022 Mazda CX-9- Video
Hey everyone, Cooper here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima Grand Tour 18 on our 2022 Mazda CX9. Now this is a perfect rooftop cargo box for if you wanna carry around some of those longer items maybe like skis and snowboards, or if you have the whole entire family loaded up in the CX9 and you need some additional storage space for some of that luggage, this is going to be a great option for that too. Our box is going to be made out of an ABS plastic which just means it is a little more durable as you can imagine, driving through all the elements maybe finding it in rain or hail or rocks sticking up from the highway hitting, it just means it's going to stay durable and rugged throughout all that. That being said, it does have a glossy black finish to it and glossy black finishes just really have a prone to smudges and scratches. So while the material itself is pretty durable, it might not keep that clean nice look forever. more

Today on our 2015 Toyota 4Runner we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima CBX Rooftop Cargo Box. This cargo box is huge. It's pretty big, so if you have a bigger vehicle like the 4Runner, it's gonna be a great option for you. But if you do have a smaller car, we put it on a RAV4 and it looked a little out of place because it was massive compared to a smaller compact SUV. We also have a 16 cubic foot one available as well. Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Inno Shadow rooftop box and seeing how it fits on our 2023 Subaru Outback, With 13 cubic feet of storage space inside the box and interior measurements measuring out to 72 inches long, 25 and five eighths inches wide and 11 inches tall, there's gonna be a good amount of room inside for a variety of different gear whether you wanna carry things like skis and snowboards, more long items or maybe a few duffle bags and small backpacks, camping gear, that sort of thing that's maybe a little bit taller. Overall, it's a fairly low profile box so do keep that in mind when you're loading it up. But you should be able to fit a wide variety of things. This box can open from either side of the vehicle so you have easy access whether you're having some street parking or in a parking lot where there's limited space. Just turn the key to unlock it. more

And depending on the shape of the box they might lend themselves better to those activities where a low profile box would lend itself a lot better to skis and snowboards because you don't need all that height. A taller box like this can be used for a wide range of those things. more
