This is going to be a 58 inch by 47 inch long platform and we'll take a look at how it fits on our 2016 Chevrolet Traverse. This is an interesting pairing with the Chevrolet Traverse, especially with how our roof rack is set. When you have crossbars on there, it's awesome because you have plenty of clearance there from the front and for the back for your longer or larger cargo items. Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack Installation - 2018 Chevrolet Traverse- Video

We put up a roof rack on our roof and this is the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Bar roof rack system and the vehicle is a 2018 Chevrolet Traverse. So, these are aero bars which are gonna be nice and low profile and aero-dynamic. So, it's not gonna be whistling whenever you're going down the road. These are 54 inches long, so when I have them perfectly centered up on our roof, you have about three inches from the tower out to the cap. Why do we put roof racks on our vehicles Well, we wanna put stuff up there. And with it centered on our vehicle, we can put our Rhino Rack J Style Kayak Carrier right at the end. more

It does have a very sleek look, and it does come with locking caps over top with a key set, so you can be sure to relieve your mind of any worry when you're traveling with your roof rack installed on your vehicle.What this is going to allow you to do, is to mount your bikes, kayaks, or even some roof cargo baskets on top of your vehicle to free up space inside your cab. On this 2018 Chevy Traverse, you're going to have a decent amount of clearance. I would say from the very bottom, it's 1 1/4" and to the very top it's 2". more

Yakima Roof Rack Installation - 2018 Chevrolet Traverse- Video

Today in our 2018 Chevrolet Traverse, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Yakima Jet Stream Crossbar Roof Rack System. With this system in place, it's going to allow us to carry bike racks, kayak carriers, cargo boxes, and more. Now the jet stream crossbars are 60 inches long. You can see how they stretch across the whole roof of our Chevrolet Traverse. This is great because it's going to allow us to carry multiple accessories on our bars, so maybe a couple bike racks or our bike rack and a kayak carrier. Yakima Roof Rack Review - 2014 Chevrolet Traverse- Video

Today on our 2014 Chevy Traverse, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Round-Bar Roof Rack System, part number Y00409 for our round bars, part number Y00124 for our foot pack, and Y00732 for our fit kit. I installed the front bar on the vehicle as well as all of our foot packs. We will show you how to put one of the foot pack and fit kits together though. You're going to start by putting the pad of the fit kit onto the bracket of the foot pack. We'll press that in place. Next what we're going to do is install our clip. We'll pull up on the cover here. What we'll need to do is take the lock core in the clip, pulling the lock core in place out. more
